Great stay, highly recommend

I had the standard apartment next to the pool. It had everything I needed. The big rooftop was amazing with great views. CASA Paula is very close to the centre but very quiet.Dana was very friendly and helpful, thanks for everything, I definitely would stay again.

Sad experience

We arrived on Tuesday afternoon and staff member Dana could not have been more helpful. At 6am the following morning we received a phone call from our daughter back in the UK to say that her husband (our son in law) had died. We needed to get home to support her and our 3 grandchildren. We managed to get flights home early on Thursday morning. Dana was incredibly kind and sympathetic, she suggested that we email the owner to see if we could have a small refund for unused electricity and water. His response was what a ridiculous request as the apartment was empty. Fair enough he is obviously a very keen business man. What really upset us was that he offered no word of sympathy for our devastating loss. We were due to leave on the Saturday to spend a week at another apartment elsewhere on the Algarve. We were offered a message of great sympathy on the tragedy and 100% refund. Such a difference in attitudes!

Tired apt. Great roof terrace and location. Rude host. No outside balcony on apt 4. Misleading photos

The best thing about this place is the notation and the roof terrace. The apt itself was a big disappointment. Apt 4 is very misleading on the advert. The so called balcony is shown as being outside with a pool view. That balcony is for a diff apt. The balcony you get is not a balcony. It's the corridor outside the lounge looking over a glass panel to the front door, stair well and bins with a bistro set on. It's not even outside ! I complained and have done since back and the host was rude and now ignores any correspondence from myself or booking.com. The inside looks ok on the photos but it's very tired. The kitchen / microwave is very old. The bed was comfy. The rugs in the bedroom were all stained.
To ignore guests who have a genuine issue is disgusting. As hosts ourselves in the UK we would never ignore an unhappy guest once home.

Beautiful apartments in a convenient location

Beautiful apartment complex, located very conveniently- close both to old town and the beach. Dana was very helpful and accommodating throughout our stay. The views from the roof were wonderful. The apartment had everything one required.

Our stay here in Lagos at the Casa Paula Apartments truly made this our best vacation experience everthis our best vacat

This was my first trip to Portugal, including my stay here in the Algarve. We stayed at the Casa Paula apartments. The host, Dane was exceptional. She was very knowledgeable and very kind. She made our stay over the top! the villa was exceptionally clean, centrally located, and we had beautiful views from our room. I will definitely stay here again.
