Great location, great views, clean and comfy

I just stayed here for a week while on a group tour. Our group took up the full house so I cannot comment on what it would be like if you shared it with strangers but we found the house to be very clean. I stayed in the master room (third floor, #5) and it was very nice, clean, comfy. It had stunning views of the ocean from the bathroom window. The house has laundry and all the necessary amenities. It is directly next to a historical church and if you walk up the church stairs you have views of the full town and ocean. It is short walk to the beach and local restaurants. We also walked to the sister hotel, Volcanic Charming House, for breakfast each more and the breakfast was very good!

Room with view

A casa da Cascade is a historic residence of the good bourgeoisie recently renovated with all the comforts that leave the charm of the time and aesthetic taste unchanged.
Ribeira Grande, ideally located to discover the island in comfort while escaping the bustle of Ponta Delgada, offers world-class dining experiences.
We stayed two nights on the top floor in a charming and spacious room where even the bathroom, comfortable and elegant, had ocean views.
Refined and pleasant common areas; equipped kitchen so that guests can manage meals independently. Free parking in the beautiful square in front of the building.
Welcoming with souvenir photos and deployment of information and tourist material. I recommend it also for long stays.

Where you wanna stay

Great hosts, amazing levels of comfort, this is the place you will wish to stay. It is cozy, service is great, and it is central in Ribeira Grande: you can walk to the beach, restaurants and touristic attractions!

Warm and welcoming hosts, a beautiful guesthouse, and a great location!

A Casa da Cascata was my home for two weeks as I explored the beautiful Island of Sao Miguel!
Vanessa is the perfect host and the house is situated in a beautiful old square. I felt completely at home, and took full advantage of the BBQ and vined terrace at the back of the house....wish I was still there!

A very nice guesthouse with wonderful hosts

We had the room Nr. 5 at the top with a very nice view. The Guesthouse is wonderfully restored and has a nice and very clean kitchen and a peacful little patio.The Guesthouse is perfectly located in the middle of Ribeira grande. Vanessa was very helpful and friendly! As we couldnt rent a car we made a tour with her mother, which was really nice. We had a great stay at the casa da cascata.
