Great Hotel for Adults Only
Our room was clean and tidy and the bathroom was also clean and spacious.
We were welcomed back by Elsa and the team who were all helpful and supportive throughout our stay. Breakfasts were good and there was a good selection to choose from.
We hired a car through the hotel for a few days at a reasonable cost and used the hotel car park (for a reasonable daily cost).
Have already booked our next stay for 2007, as we really enjoy the adult only theme which is great for us. The Allegro is in a fantastic location near the lido area and right on the coastal path. There are many cafes and places to eat locally and Funchal town centre is just a 30 minute walk.

Great hotel
Pool area clean and never needed to worry about sunbed availability. Pool service is great!
It’s a 40 minute steady walk into Funchal, plenty of restaurants nearby if you don’t fancy the walk. Breakfast had a good selection, sometimes the pancakes were cold but overall not a bad breakfast.
We enjoyed our stay and would return.
