Beautiful and relaxing bed & breakfast !

Wonderful bed & breakfast. We absolutely Loved staying at this place. Fileppe is the best host we have ever encountered in Acores. We enjoyed staying in your home. We felt at home. Everything is clean and the location in Pico close to everything. We were lucky to find this place. Thank you !

Not even, thanks

The owner totally absent.
He doesn't answer calls or messages.
The structure is self-managed by the guests
The breakfast was very sad and poor
And in case I had breakfast after the other guests, there was the risk of finding nothing to eat and the kitchen being dirty

Perfect!

EXCELLENT. ‘Casa das Caldeiras’ is a cozy and beautiful house with a lot of light and great views. We could find every needed facility and everything was very clean. But the strong point of the house is Filipe, the host. He will provide fresh bread and homemade ham and honey and fruit from his own garden, he will give you weather tips, show you his whaler boat or anything with a love and passion for the island and its traditions that will amaze you. It’s the place to stay if you want to leave Pico Island with a good memory.

Wunderschön

Felipe, der Besitzer, hat aus dem Elternhaus seines Vaters ein Schmuckstück gemacht, das Tradition (Steinhaus) und moderne Elemente perfekt kombiniert. Alle Zimmer sind geschmackvoll eingerichtet und komfortabel ausgestattet. Ein leckeres Frühstück wird bereitgestellt und kann im Esszimmer oder auf der großen Terrasse eingenommen werden. Wer selbst kochen möchte, findet eine komplett ausgestattete Küche vor. Felipe und seine Mutter Helen sind an Herzlichkeit und Hilfsbereitschaft kaum zu überbieten. Felipe hat mir im Vorfeld einen Scooter organisiert, mit dem ich die Insel erkundet habe. Da es teilweise steil bergauf/-ab geht, würde ich allerdings im Nachhinein zu einem Auto tendieren. Das Guesthouse befindet sich in Silveira und ist ca. 4 km von Lajes entfernt. Im Ort gibt es eine Tankstelle mit kleinem Laden, einen Geldautomaten und ein sehr gutes Restaurant mit Garten (Aldeia da Fonte). Ich freue mich jetzt schon darauf, bei meinem nächsten Besuch auf Pico wieder hier zu wohnen.
