Divine Place

After traveling for two weeks through Spain and Portugal, arriving at Isa's place felt like a homecoming. Her place is cozy, elegant, and inspirational. The view from her terrace gives you a glimpse at many of the key destinations in Sintra. Most places to visit are only minutes away by car. Staying here allowed us to be away from the noisy city center, but two minutes away by foot from the best restaurant of our whole trip.
We loved Isa, and plan to return again.

Best stay of our trip!

Would 100% recommend this place for anyone (especially if you like dogs). It's Isabel's actual house, which is full of cool books and interesting things and has a beautiful terrace with a view of Sintra castle. Although it is a house, we felt like we had quite a lot of privacy in a downstairs bedroom with a separate bathroom which was lovely (and had the same beautiful view of the castle) The bed was incredibly comfortable and it was lovely and quiet at night. This was all great, but the best thing about Isa's house is it's location, which is a 10 minute walk from the path that leads right up to the castle! It's a bit more expensive than what we would usually pay but worth every penny!

Beautiful home in an amazing location

You get a room in the home of Isa, who is a lovely woman who really wants to help you see the best of Sintra. When we arrived she spent time showing us the best places to go on a map. Be aware that she has two dogs, who are also lovely, but if you don't like dogs this place isn't for you.
We stayed two nights, and felt very welcome. It is also located right at the foot of the Castelo dos Mouros, so easy access to the most popular tourist spots in Sintra.
Isa wasn't in when we left, but she phoned us later just to say goodbye. Highly recommend this place.
