Perfect for relaxation: comfort and wonderful views”

We were at the Pousada do Xerife and we were simply delighted with the place. The guesthouse is extremely cozy, with very well-planned environments, almost all with a beautiful view and a lot of tranquility — perfect for relaxing.
The rooms are very comfortable, with a good quality mattress, new air conditioning, a shower with warm and abundant water, plus a well-filled fridge. All working perfectly and with great care in the details.
The leisure area is also excellent: heated pool, hot tub, bar service and towels for the pool at no extra cost.
The reception staff are extremely attentive and make you feel at home. One detail that I found sensational was the trust system: in the morning, if you want to consume something from the reception — like beer, soda or some frozen (which can be heated in the reception’s own kitchen) — just pick up and write down on a notebook that is on the counter. I found it amazing!
Breakfast is served in the Terra de Fogo restaurant, practically on the same property, with quality products and good variety.
We don't see the time to go back!

Caconde offers a nature and amazing landscapes. The Pousada is very welcoming with very cordial service. The Sheriff's Restaurant with an unforgettable food and view. We loved spending the weekend in Caconde. It's worth seeing.

"Room in the tree" a real scam - bad faith attitude on the part of the administration

I rented the "House on the Tree" room. What do you think about renting a "room on top of a tree" - that at least silence will be your companion. If this is your goal, avoid this deception, the location of the tree where the room is installed is next to the track that connects Caconde to Divinolandia, a deafening noise of trucks, motorcycles and cars throughout the day and night.
And the trap doesn't end there, if you are 10 minutes late in checking out, you will be charged half a day, which in my case was R$365.00 for exactly 32 minutes.
I claim to be an attitude of bad faith on the part of this establishment, as only at 4:20 pm (the 10 minute grace period had already passed) the reception sent me a message informing me that check out was at 4 pm, and again not mentioning anything about the abusive fine .
At reception I tried to argue about the excessive amount, whether I could pay for one or two hours, as the delay was 32 minutes - I was told in a categorical and sarcastical way - it's in the contract, didn't you read it?
In short, a very disrespectful attitude towards the consumer.

great accommodation option.

Great guesthouse. I booked the triple superior chalet: very, very clean room and bathroom; bedding, including pillow protectors, new. Bathroom: it would be interesting to have a shelf/corner to hold shampoo/conditioner. The air conditioning wasn't working and on the third night we were relocated to another chalet: also very clean and more spacious. I had a little difficulty tempering the water in the (electric) shower. Very complete and tasty breakfast. Wonderful view from the rooms and also the restaurant. Reception staff very friendly and attentive. Coffee machine (freshly ground) available to guests at reception is a wonderful treat. Wi-fi in the room excellent.
