Fantastic days!

What a maaravilhaa that was these days in Windtown! From the staff, friendly and always available. Food, rooms, pool and beach... all fantastic, careful and a good delight too. It would be a month if possible :) Thank you to all and we hope to return one day!

The perfect mix of peaceful comfort and kite community

I stayed at Windtown Beach Hotel and what stood out most was how well everything is balanced. The hotel itself is calm, green, and very comfortable, with a relaxed atmosphere that never feels busy or chaotic.
At the same time, you’re right in the heart of Cumbuco’s kitesurf scene. It’s easy to meet other riders, share sessions, and organize downwinders, and then come back to the hotel to relax by the pool or unwind in the garden.
The location works really well: close to restaurants, shops, and bars, but still quiet enough to properly rest. Getting to and from the airport is straightforward, and it’s reassuring to know that medical facilities are nearby as well.
A great choice for longer stays if you want reliable wind, a strong kite community, and a hotel that stays peaceful even during the busy season.

Everything kiteboarders need Windtown Hotel offers

I spent one night at Windtown Hotel Cumbuco on a kitesurf trip to Brazil . I could not have made a better choice. Windtown Hotel perfectly exemplifies what hotels and camps targeting kiteboarders should be. Although not very large, rooms are functional, very clean, and with enough space to accommodate luggage. The piece of furniture located between the bed and the bathroom entrance is very convenient for that purpose. Decoration is simple but modern, relying on wood and local handicraft objects. The bathroom is spacious and well-appointed. Strong shower jet and abundant hot water may look small details, but both really matter after a long kitesurf session. With direct access to the beach, the hotel location is just perfect. Sunbeds are located on a terrace overlooking the beach and offering views of water and beach activities. The pool is located in the central patio around which the hotel building stands. Rooms located on the ground floor are clearly the best options. There are 2 areas for the restaurant, the first one near the reception, clearly not the best one and the second one on the terrace facing the beach, clearly the best one. I had dinner at the hotel, but there is no doubt that food could be better. The fish I ordered was overcooked and too salty. However, snacks and light food (e.g., açai bowls) are OK, as is breakfast. Internet connection is good. Service is professional, smiling, and efficient. Equipment storage lockers are good. With hangers, light, and a reasonable space, they stand out compared to other hotels' and camps'. Another Windtown Hotel's strong point is the kitecentre. Although the artificial grass can be packed when many inflated kites lay on it, the kitecentre is well organised and offers top-notch equipment such as the Duotone brand. Staff were forthcoming and offered to clean my equipment (3 kites and one board) for no charge, which was very thoughtful. I'm very satisfied with my stay at Windtown Hotel Cumbuco and highly recommend it to any kiteboarder visiting Cumbuco.

I apologize for what happened with the fish. I don't know if you told the restaurant staff about it, but this is not common and the recommended thing to do in these cases is to offer another dish or give a discount on the price of the dish. I hope everything has been resolved.
