Very friendly staff

We ended up staying at Fantasia by accident, but had a very good time. Amilton and Andreia were friendly and helpful. They are trying to fix some of their "problems" like changing the bathtub into shower boxes and building a deck and a swimming pool area. Breakfast was good - the carrot cake, amazing! - but I missed different kinds of bread. Our double bed was too small and the single ones not comfortable according to my brother. The pousada is a bit rundiwn and needs care, but All and all, I'd stay there again.

The worst pousada in Mangue Seco - BA : Service terrible, breakfast disgusting, dirty,owner unfriendly

From the outside looked very pretty....but everything else terrible. The bed linen was dirty, the wipes very old, the room full of dust and spiders.The owner kills the cats with poison or has them thrown in shelves in the sea. Terrible!

Beautiful guesthouse with poor service

Despite the goodwill of manager Edson, there is not enough manpower to serve everyone well. We left the key to the room in the gateway but the room was not cleaned up; small, poor quality sheets and torn towels. At breakfast, there was a lack of dishes and cutters all the time, not to mention that the food replacement was extremely slow.

Horrible.

Horrible guesthouse, fetished water, bats on the balcony, abandoned and does not charge less than the other local guesthouses that seem to be in better condition. Breakfast very limited. It seems to have been forgotten by those who run or own the venue. A shame.

Unnecessarily Expensive - NO Beach!

Mangue Seco is a place to go where you want to be alone and enjoy the beauty. Brazil has so many places to see and this is a beautiful location. This hotel, however, is overprice for a nightly stay as well as the food. The wifi never worked, and the included breakfast was average but nothing special. There is no pool and the beach is over a 2 mile walk. IF you want to take a dune buggy that will cost you $75-100! The sun is VERY hot and you will get burned if you don't take precautions. There are many places to stay that are right on the water that have pools and restaurants near by that have great food that's better priced. The customer service is average, when I asked about the WIFI that was suppose to be included, they just blank stared me and said "It doesn't work"
Do not waste your money on this place, it's totally not worth it. See another location!
