Good hotel for rest

The place is very beautiful, staying in a district of Ouro Preto on the way to Itabirito. The rooms are spacious, but do not have air conditioning and/or heating (here would be my only complaint, as it was too cold during the night). The breakfast is good and served with great attention by the staff, and the coffee and milk are from the farm itself, being a unique experience. Access is easy and there is Wi-Fi for anyone who wants to use. There is total peace and tranquility.

Bad hostel.

The hostel is down. Weak mancha coffee. No butter, cheese, cheesecake....there's nothing. The internet works badly. Sad.

Can improve

Guest house on an old farm with coffee plantation. Poor reception, no arrival room. There is a colonial type mansion but already reformed and even uncharacterized, always closed.
Pros: small stretch of land road in good condition. New and well isolated chalet from the cold. Satisfactory breakfast. Beautiful view from the mountainous horizon!
Cons: scarce and precarious toys (ferrous and rotten wood). Kitchen away from the Chalés and reception does not work all night. The pool is very simple and without heating, in winter forget it! There is no useful routine on site, just for rest.
Abstract: Beautiful place but that is bad for being lacking renovations in leisure and food area. Bad for kids, almost breaking toys. Good for a couple who want to disconnect from big city for just one fds. The employees don't know how to give information about the history of the farm, a pity.

Stay at the Mirante do Café

I found this guesthouse on the travel website - Tripadvisor and I was fascinated by the photos. I followed the reservation on VOA's own website MIRANTE DO CAFÉ which seems to me to be a hotel chain. I booked for a few days, but I had no vacancy. So I only got one diary. We got there and we were already amazed by the view and the tranquility of the place. Gostei. But there are some issues that can be improved, examples: Reception on arrival, we were welcomed by the attendant of the guesthouse, but I think you could be more kind and explain about the history of the place... I realized that you do not have management on site, like a manager or owner checking out and making your hostel the best place to stay. Santo Antônio do Leite is a very charming place, it is a district that needs to be best known for its beauties, and so I wanted to go back there, and I chose this hostel, but I was disappointed, by the receptivity of the place. Then we went to the bedroom... the double bed, is of those that are two single together... I saw no problems, but I think that could have warned before, there is a small hole, in the middle of the bed, the edredon was clean, bathroom hot water,... etc, ok. The TV is difficult to operate, broke several times. I think the internet is weak. After all, then we went to the coffee area, to have an afternoon coffee, arriving there was not ready, it took a long time, we almost gave up the coffee, but finally he arrived and we took with the fubá cake that was ready... In a guesthouse I think it is important to leave a bottle of coffee ready to welcome visitors... The other day, we went to have breakfast, it was quite full of visitors... there. Then when I went to serve, I saw that the dishes were finished, cups... bread, cheeses, fruits... that is, a lot of things needed to be repaired. We waited and slowly returned. Then we start serving. I found the dishes wet, well wet, it wasn't dry, there were no wardrobes, we had to order, the serving spoonful was melated and dirty... the graphs were over, I had to wait, i.e., I started serving the coffee, but still I had to wait to re-cut the cutlery, fruits, the coffee was pickled, and every hour I got up from the chair, to see what had arrived. I feel that the lack of management contributes to all this... the value of the daily was not cheap, for seeing and receiving all this mentioned here above. I loved the place the tranquility, but not everything was perfect... as I thought. I think all comments are valid for the managers and attendees to make improvements in the service, in the cafe... in the stay in general. Thanks. Att.

Bad.

Hard to find anything that is at least reasonable in this Inn. And you won't find it, except the view. The room is basic, to say the basics. There's no air conditioning. The bathroom has several maintenance problems, the towels are ugly and no face towel has. The breakfast... not that. I don't know how anyone can give a single compliment to this establishment, which was undoubtedly one of the worst I've ever had in my life. Never again.
