Lovely!

Staff was lovely! Very kind and willing to help.
The space and view are beautiful! There’s a sweet white dog on the property that makes returning at night that much more exciting.
Lots of places to sit and relax!

Terminator of your holidays

Want happy fairs? satisfying? comfort? quality? ready look somewhere else! this hotel is over with my vacation. sucked my energy, patience health and still want my money!
I closed my accommodation from 17/05 to 23/05 but I would only arrive at the river on the 18th, so I paid for an extra day. I arrived at the hotel at 6:28 in the morning, I only managed to enter 7:06 in the hotel, was a reception that attended me? No! a host who went down for the dog to take a walk... stay at the reception until the only employee arrived to lara libar our stay. I thought, worked out, uffa... actually the problems were just beginning, in the room: bathroom looking like a box of phosphorus frozen shower, all wrapped, room full of spider networks, had a dog chicken on the floor of the room, I couldn't take a bath because it was awkward, it was extremely tired. out of the room to talk to the employee about all the situation, she was extremely requested, said that once she had served the coffee she would be ready to change our room.
I requested the cancellation of the reservation and refund, I did not call to discount the days I already stayed, I just want the rest of my money to go elsewhere. Now you want to give me a credit card to use here!? hey!? to go away for dissatisfaction with accommodation and service and you want me to come back here? serious!? total disrespect! overload the employees with accumulation of function and responsibilities.
And worse, they stopped answering me!

Bad experience

We arrived at the Inn and found the reception empty, as the only employee was moving from one side to the other in an attempt to prepare breakfast with eager guests already there. We asked her if there was anyone at reception, and she said herself. Between serving guests breakfast and serving us, other guests asking for help, and clearly an overload/shift of function. She was alone.
All the environments were potentially beautiful, an old mansion, wonderful views. But everything was very neglected and clearly without investment. The room was completely moldy/dusty, and not because of a lack of cleanliness and orderliness on the part of the only two employees who work there on alternate days (!!!!!!!!) and need to manage 13 rooms+guests+breakfast+ I don't know what. But due to lack of tact on the part of the administration. The bathroom shower, covered in rotten silicone, was cold, the shower barely worked and there was no other part of the shower that closes it to contain the temperature. The room's openings, all made of wood, had dirt for 3 decades. There is no administrative support, there is no staff, in short, it should have been a great experience, but it was quite bad. Furthermore, after 3 days of sleeping in that damp and moldy wood, I had a huge allergic attack that resulted in pharyngitis that has not yet been cured. I wouldn't go back, I wouldn't recommend it!

Reviews are NOT real

I booked it based on photos of the place and reviews. Total disappointment. HERE'S A WARNING: the hotel has only one employee to carry out all activities, including breakfast, washing bed linen, towels, reception services and everything else. On the first day of breakfast, the food was from the previous day, at least. In the following days it was the same bread (expired), with no variety (just bread, a type of cake and scrambled egg, toast and packaged jams, coffee and milk, not fresh fruit). We left the hotel before our stay ended and went to another hotel, losing the daily rate we had paid at check in. Not suitable for children or the elderly. There is no way to go and have coffee anywhere else, except by car, as the hills are very steep.

Great Accommodation in Rio

A small quaint B+B style hotel in a beautiful part of the city. The staff was great and the breakfast good. I can not reccomend it if you have a difficulty climbing stairs. NO ELEVATOR. It is also located at long way from a lot of the city's attractions
