Very nice hotel facing the beach

Very well located facing the beach, in a quiet place with little traffic. Places to eat nearby, both day and night. The hotel is a bit old from the 80s and that is the only thing to criticize. In return, the rooms are comfortable, spacious, without a balcony, but facing the sea. The cleanliness and staff are very good. Very good service in the lobby. Complete and good breakfast. It has a pool although we did not use it. Shopping malls nearby. To improve: update or modernize rooms.

Disappointment upon arrival

They had to test 3 apartments until they found with lock that worked the opening and closing of the door, we were stuck in 2 apartments in 20 of the arrival.
Bad first impression.
Chaos.
Good location and good breakfast.

IT'S NOT GOLD ALL THAT SPARKLES

Hotel that stands out only for its location on the beachfront. It's by no means a 4-star hotel. Clearly you have 2. Upon arrival we checked the abysmal level of cleanliness in the room, especially the bathroom that smelled of urine as the wall was splashed and the floor did not stand out for the cleanliness. It was such a smell that my wife opted directly to go shopping for cleaning products and sanitize the bathroom as we did not trust the cleaning service of that hotel. We also found a bedspread that could not have more stains of all kinds. On the positive side, I highlight the view from the room and bathroom. The quality of sleep is good as it has good mattress and pillows and in our case, there is a door that could be closed between a reception where the fridge was and the room itself favoring silence at bedtime. Breakfast is standard and acceptable. Of course, we communicate the cleaning failures at reception so that they can inform the person who allegedly cleaned the room before we entered. The complaint was received with the best poker face

Terrible, even facing the sea, the appearances deceive.

Bad hotel. Wall air conditioning, no ice. Smooth and small towels. Bathroom without ventilation, Venetian door next to the bed. Seals that don't close. Breakfast only after 06:30 and is pretty weak.
Tight room. Bad endings. After check-in I stayed in a room with 2 single beds, that is, I was not even asked. Total failure.

LGBT experiences

The hotel has a good structure and nice facilities, but some points related to the guest experience deserve attention.
I'm gay and I was staying with a friend. On several occasions, when we returned to the hotel during the night, we were approached at the reception to confirm whether we were really guests. When talking to other guests, I realized that this procedure was not applied in the same way to them, which generated some discomfort.
I believe that security policies are important, but they must be conducted with sensitivity and, above all, on an equal basis for all. All guests deserve to be treated with the same level of respect and consideration, regardless of who they are or who they are staying with.
When I questioned the reason for the approaches, I was informed that it was a change of security team. However, this justification did not seem consistent, as the approach did not occur with other guests in the same circumstances.
Overall, the hotel has potential and good infrastructure. Still, I suggest a review of how these protocols are applied, so that the experience of all guests, including the LGBT public, is conducted with more sensitivity, professionalism and equity.
