Great location and rooftop terrace with minor service flaws
The Good:
Perfect location right by Copacabana beach.
Quiet rooms: Even though my room faced the inner courtyard, it was very quiet and comfortable.
Fantastic rooftop terrace with a magnificent view.
Culinary highlight: Dinner was excellent – the steak in particular was outstanding!
First impression: The welcome at check-in was very friendly.
The Bad:
Post-check-in service: Unfortunately, the staff's friendliness dropped noticeably after check-in. The service felt rather "semi-friendly" from then on.
Breakfast value: At around €20, breakfast is quite expensive. The selection is good, but not as rich and plentiful as in many other hotels along the Copacabana.
Tip: Definitely have dinner on the rooftop terrace in the evening! The food is great and the night view is simply unbeatable.

Excellent location, top-tier service, clean & well-kept. This place is fantastic—and I haven’t even started on the amenities: breakfast is delicious and fresh, the rooftop pool/bar/restaurant are all spectacular. This place can’t be beat.

Good location to explore Rio
We were staying at the hotel for three nights in July during our Brazil tour. The hotel is right opposite the copacabana beach so we were able to stroll in the morning to watch the beautiful sun rise !
Rooms we stayed didn’t have much light and slightly dark given the position of the hotel in this busy area but didn’t bother us much as we were out most of the day .
Hotel is great for those looking to explore the city , a good night sleep and a good breakfast. Staff looked after us well and service was great during breakfast time.

Not Worth the Money
We chose this hotel for our honeymoon and stayed for almost a week.
To be honest, considering the price we paid, I believe there are much better options in the area. The hotel wasn't bad, but there was nothing particularly special that justified the cost.
When we first checked in, the air conditioning in our room was extremely noisy. After I reported the issue to the night receptionist, they immediately took action and moved us to another room. The following day, we were moved once again to a different room. While I appreciate how quickly they responded, no one ever apologized for the inconvenience.
I had also mentioned that we were staying for our honeymoon, but apart from the standard complimentary chocolates that every guest seems to receive, there was no special gesture or recognition.
On the positive side, the breakfast was very good with a nice variety of options. The hotel also offered an excellent currency exchange rate, which was very useful during our stay.
The pool area, however, was quite disappointing. We stayed for seven days, and it was almost empty every day, which reflects that it isn't a particularly attractive or inviting space.
Overall, while our stay was comfortable, I don't think the hotel offers good value for money. For the same budget, you can definitely find better accommodation in the area, including hotels with better facilities and even rooms with a view.

The hotel is superb
Location is great.
Staff are absolutely superb.
My only complaints:-
If the room you’re paying for is not going to have a beach view then the booking site should t really show pictures of rooms with beach views.
The room was really noisy with the sound of electoral pumps, motors etc. I turned off the aircon at night but there was a constant thrum of som sort of generator etc, plus a very noisy fridge.
I have quite bad tinnitus which make me sensitive to this sort of thing so maybe ther people wouldn’t worry.
But as I said at the start, great hotel, great location, superb staff.
