Great hotel and an excellent location!

Hotel is centrally located and offers great rooms.
Comfortable beds, amazing bath, very considerate service overall, breakfast was above average for smaller hotels.
Room quality/ general areas was excellent.
Very clean
Parking available
The staff were very friendly, far more so than anywhere we visited in Pleven which made the Hotel stand out positively.

I'm not coming back.

The hotel is relatively close to the... On arrival we had no problems parking although, despite having parking we could not access it as the staff spoke absolutely no English (we do not know if there was parking in the end).
The price to pay was written on a paper... Otherwise, communication is difficult.
The hotel was totally in darkness. Enlightenment just right. Scarce. I don't know why.
It was pretty hot in the hotel... Until we got to the room. Surprise ours... The air conditioning wasn't working. We couldn't make it work... But what could we do if the front desk person had no way to communicate?? Obviously we opened the window, with the risk of mosquitoes coming in (which by the way, there are a lot of them!).
The room was small (108). We could hardly move with our bags... In booking and other platforms appears a dream photo... But no!!!
Towels were "toasted", yellow from use... And the bathroom a mess. The shower didn't squirt well, and the cleanliness shone from its absence.
We went to dinner... And surprise!!!! A maintenance man was in another room... Everything was starting to add up.
In view of the opinions with breakfast, we did not take it. We prefer to go to a 24 hrs and get enough coffee, scones and juice. Seen from the view...
We have been traveling around the Balkans and certainly the worst hotel of all.
Repeat, of course not!!!
I put my review on the platform where I made the Reservation and the Director sent me a message that has no waste... (if Tripadvisor authorizes me I will hang it).
Anyway... There are better hotels at the best price. There are.

Overpriced for the quality

Great location. Very dark rooms and the bathroom looks awful. If you are in a room facing the main street it's very noisy. It looks like the hotel was good a few years before. Only 10 TV channels. Lack of parking spaces.

Average , not bad

The hotel was really good one 5 years ago, when the renovation was yet visible. Today I can say that needs new furniture and renovation of the bathrooms. The breakfast is with really bad quality. There is no real packing place.

City Hotel Pleven Review

One of the worst hotels, that I have ever stayed in. Dirty rooms, unfriendly service, very cheaply made. Rooms were small and not welcoming. It does not have a spa, does not have a pool or massages. It's even not good for business meetings. I don't recommend it.
