Five star service and great location
It is honestly very refreshing to stay at a hotel that markets itself as a five star hotel and actually delivers a five star level of service. That sounds like something that should be expected, but unfortunately with many hotels today it really is not.
The interiors at Kempinski Central Avenue are nothing special or memorable, but for a hotel that is directly connected to a shopping mall, the overall experience here is outstanding. The hotel feels properly run, the service is polished, and everything throughout our stay was handled very efficiently.
Ali, the front desk manager, was very attentive. He upgraded us to Deluxe Rooms, made sure the rooms were next to each other, and arranged an early check-in for us, which made arriving with the family much easier. Nada at reception was also amazing and made the entire check-in process very smooth and efficient.
The Deluxe rooms themselves are very spacious, with a seating area and a balcony. Housekeeping were amazing and the rooms were very well taken care of, with large complimentary bottles of water, flowers, and something that I genuinely appreciated and a definite highlight which is that the rooms had plenty of towels. Hotels can sometimes be strangely stingy with towels and I usually end up having to request extras, but I don’t think I ever managed to run out of towels here!!
There was one occasion where the room make up sign and turndown service had been missed, but Fred, the housekeeping supervisor, came and personally took care of both rooms and did an excellent job in very little time. Mistakes can happen in any hotel, and for me what matters more is how quickly and professionally they are corrected.
Sasi from the valet team was also extremely helpful throughout the stay, particularly when we needed to arrange a car to the airport at the last minute. He handled everything very smoothly and was very attentive with the luggage.
And then there is the location, which is probably the biggest advantage of staying here. The hotel has a direct entrance into Dubai Mall through Bloomingdale’s, and I cannot explain how convenient this is, especially in Dubai during the hot weather. You can go from your room directly into the mall without ever having to step outside.
My only real complaint is Uber pickup. The hotel does not have an official pickup point in the app, so Uber automatically gives you pickup locations inside Dubai Mall instead. It is a big problem: we would have to message the driver and ask him to come to the hotel entrance instead of the pick up location in the app, this is something the hotel should try to fix because having an official pickup point would make things much easier.
Overall, Kempinski Central Avenue surprised me. The hotel itself may not be the flashiest or most impressive five-star property in Dubai, but the service is genuinely five-star. I would very happily stay here again.

Our stay at the Kempinski Central Avenue Dubai was absolutely wonderful from start to finish. The hotel perfectly combines luxury, comfort, and an unbeatable location right in the heart of Dubai. The rooms were beautifully designed, spotlessly clean, and offered stunning views of the city.
