“The staff are just like family.” ❤️
I think you may have given our team the nicest compliment possible. Beautiful rooms, good food and comfortable beds are important, of course, but making someone feel genuinely cared for — especially when they are only with us for one night — is what Jaya House is really about.
And apparently we succeeded with the bed too if we managed to make you both sleep like babies!
Thank you for choosing our little hotel during your time in Cambodia, for sharing your lovely photographs, and especially for saying you received the “best service ever.” I will make sure the team sees that one!
You have already promised to come back, so we’ll hold you to it. Next time, however, one night simply isn’t enough!

We particularly like your description of Jaya House as “an oasis in Siem Reap” — that is very much what we hope our little 36-room hotel feels like after a day exploring Angkor and everything else our wonderful city has to offer.
It is also lovely to know that the pools, spa, food and — importantly! — happy hour became things you looked forward to each day.
Most of all, thank you for mentioning our team. The warmth of our Khmer colleagues is the heart of Jaya House, and I know they will be very happy to read this.

Truly the Best
I did not know much about Cambodia or Siem Reap before going, but staying at Jaya House really gave the best first impression of the Cambodian people. Everyone we encountered was friendly and extremely helpful, and we had many conversations about food, weather, customs, and Cambodia in general. I loved that the hotel was small and intimate - it made our entire five nights feel like we were at home.
Plenty of other reviews have discussed the free laundry, massages, mosquito spray, and tuk-tuk service. All of those things were amazing. Our daily breakfast was fantastic, and we also had several other meals in the restaurant which were very delicious.
I loved my overall time in Siem Reap, and Jaya House played a huge part in that. I wasn't too sad to leave because I know that I will definitely be back. Thank you to the entire team for your warm hospitality. If I were to thank every individual by name, I don't think I would have enough space. But we want to give a special thank you to Ra, who was exceptionally kind and helpful.
If it wasn't clear already, I highly, highly recommend staying here!
Tip #1: Buy their Jaya Organics products to bring home! I have been back home for only a day, and our friends and family are already raving about the products we gave as gifts.
Tip #2: If you have picky parents (like I do), bring them here. They will have nothing to pick at! My parents cannot stop talking about Jaya House and the amazing time they had. Christian, if you are in need of a couple of retired folks to be spokespeople for your hotel, let me know! :)

What an absolutely wonderful review to read. Thank you.
To have someone who has travelled extensively say, with such certainty, that Jaya House is the best hotel they have ever stayed at is an extraordinary compliment — but what means even more to us is what you wrote about the people of Cambodia.
We have always wanted Jaya House to be much more than simply a beautiful place to sleep while visiting Angkor. If five nights with us left you feeling at home, having conversations with our team about Cambodia, our food, our customs and everyday life here, then I think we achieved something far more important.
I will make sure Ra sees your special mention — although I suspect the rest of the team will be asking why only Ra got his name into the review!
And thank you for taking Jaya Organics home with you. Knowing that Jaya House is now spreading through your friends’ and family’s bathrooms makes us very happy indeed.
As for your parents: deal! I may have just found our newest international spokespeople. Please tell them their application has been accepted and the salary will be paid in massages, breakfast and unlimited laundry.
The best part of your review, however, is knowing that this wasn’t goodbye and that you intend to return.

Perfect Stay
From the moment you are welcomed by the team until the moment you leave, your stay is nothing short of perfect.
The hotel itself is beautiful, 2 swimming pools with 2 very different vibes but both are very nice places to chill.
Rooms are beautiful and comfortable, and the hotel is full of greeneries.
