We had such a wonderful stay. The staff were incredibly nice, it was close to amenities and beautiful scenery. The balcony was the best part of our room. We had such a good time !

Excellent hotel - absolutely loved it! Nice room by the river, beautiful view, nice restaurant, and the staff was the nicest!

Lovely Inn. Very clean and well maintained and overlooking the river. Very nice ambiance and good food at the Italian restaurant onsite.

Historical Inn said to be haunted

Lovely historical boutique inn has nice view of Muskoka River. Room was nice but 3 stairs with no rails inside room to access balcony seemed unsafe.
Continental breakfast was very basic with no hot items....we ate elsewhere.

We were in room 101 which is the "pent house" sort of. It is in the old part of the Inn and the room was quirky in a nice way but might not suit everybody. Sixteen steps to the unit, nice wide staircase. The unit itself is on two levels. The first level has a nice big sitting area and access to to a smallish but adequate balcony with a nice view of the Muskoka river. The stairs to the second level where the bedroom and bathroom are located are another 16 steps up a rather narrow steep and angled staircase. This might not suit everybody, particularly if you are inclined towards larger luggage!! The bedroom has a neat octagonal shape and there is a hall to the bathroom which is smallish enough to likely be uncomfortable for oversized persons.
The restaurant offers great food at reasonable prices and the patio is beautiful with a view over the Muskoka river. Bracebridge is well located within the Muskoka district and the hotel is well located within Bracebridge.
Breakfast is modest at best, definitely continental.
We would certainly return as the front desk ladies were awesome and very helpful and maintain excellent communications whenever and wherever you are during the day.
I am 80 but am blessed with excellent health and vitality as is my wife so the stairs were not an issue but many acquaintances would have had a problem.
