Poorest restaurant service and follow up ever. 1st day of 5 day stay.
Went to the on-site restaurant for dinner. Sat at 7:15, appetizer shows up at 8:10 and wine from bar showed up at 8:30. Main course came at 9:15. 2 hours from sit time to have A steak that was about grocery store quality.
As requested at check-in, I raised an issue by texting the front desk. They were apologetic and after a back and forth, they promised my complaint was escalated to a manger and they would contact me next day to “make things right”.
Never heard a thing. I continued my stay and did play a round of golf that was booked already. However, I did not stay on the resort any more the necessary and did not spend any more discretionary dollars during my stay.
Sad thing is I had planned on spending most of my days, meals and golf time at Crown Isle.
Probably won’t be back. As for the experience - stuff happens at times but the lack of follow up is completely unacceptable.

I'm pleased to hear that your check in experience was positive and that you found your accommodations clean and comfortable. However, I am sincerely sorry that your dining experience fell so far short of expectations.
The lengthy wait times, the quality of your meal, and most importantly, our failure to follow up after promising that a manager would contact you are unacceptable. I completely understand your frustration, particularly as you had planned to spend much more of your time at the resort.

Amazing atmosphere! Sad rest did not live up to expectations.
ISSUES SUMMARIZED: but please note, this is just one room, no idea about the others. They gave us a whole $15 off (resort fee) for this disappointment.
-Glasses smeary and one very Dirty cup so wanted to wash what would use them with confidence, but no dish soap for sink or for dishwasher. Fine if eating out all the time unless want a coffee in the morning ... if like sugar in your coffee get more when checking in, liberal with amount of coffee they provide.
-Last day found paper towel hidden in bottom cupboard behind garbage can!
-Jacuzzi VERY slippery .. needs an anti-skid application. Found a matt in bathroom after almost falling a couple of times (not needed for the shower as surface designed for anti-skid). Could not close blind fully above the jacuzzi so not impressed with that.
-SHOWER CAUTION: Shower scary as taps barely move and you have either very cold water or very hot so can be scalded. Once finally set to temperature wanted then a beautiful shower head for what pulse you want.
-Bathroom Cold water tap apart, had to fix - minor issue but inconvenient.
-The floor under bathroom sink was very disgustingly filthy.
-NO air conditioning in bedroom, fan only.
-Air conditioning in front room was very noisy, hard to talk over. Have to leave it on all night otherwise bedroom becomes unbearable from the heat and stuffiness. Do not know how anyone could enjoy the noise. Needs replacing.
-Kitchen fan was extremely noisy, needs to be replaced.
-ALL USB ports on the lamps are non functional, need replacing.
Word of caution if travelling with anyone with mobility issues to ensure you are getting a room on the ground floor as no stairs.
If living on the golf course and the above is of no concern, then you will enjoy.

I'm pleased to hear that you enjoyed the atmosphere of the resort, the spacious room, and the beautiful view overlooking the first hole. However, I'm truly sorry that a number of maintenance and housekeeping issues detracted from what should have been an enjoyable experience.
