The inn's location was great for walking to the waterfront and many restaurants. The entrance looked a bit rough but once inside it was nicely decorated, clean and quiet. We had the top floor but knew we had a walk-up when we booked. There was plenty of space and for a city, it was quiet. The only time we noticed the people next door was when they came in and out. The air conditioner was a blessing as we were in Halifax when it was quite hot. There were two clearly labeled parking spots directly behind the building that were available on our second day. The off-site parking was only a block away and plentiful, the signs discouraging parking were a bit off-putting and we questioned whether we had the right place but the car was there in the morning with no ticket.

Was great place, very close to waterfront. Neat, and tidy with super comfy beds and lots of space for our family (2 adults, 2 kiddos, 1 large dog) to relax after exploring Halifax. Would be beautiful for a couple too!
Parking was a little confusing, but the host got back to us in seconds to talk us through it.
Was close to walk for groceries, alcohol and a dozen (or so) restaurants.

Everything was great! I loved how we can text the staff for any question! The room was very nice! And it was in a great area of downtown.

Great location, walking distance to restaurant's, shop's and waterfront. Very spacious and clean and gtrat parking.

The Red George Inn was convenient and walkable to enjoy downtown Halifax. I stayed in the governors suite which was nice. Parking is OK - down around the corner one block so keep that in mind if you have a couple of pieces of luggage. Owners were very responsive when I contacted them with a couple of questions.
