Very clean room and lovely accommodations. I would highly recommend the Penrose Suites. Greta view of golf course. Quiet.

Not recommended
We stayed for a local wedding. On arrival we parked one vehicle but when our second vehicle arrived someone has taken the assigned parking spot. There’s one extra spot on the lot and it was taken so we had to park at the golf course down the road. The lower units are not sound proof. We could hear every step in the unit above. We woke up the next morning with dozens of ants on the bed, on the floor in 2 rooms and under the carpet. One positive - the view is nice.
St Mary’s itself is a cozy town too.

A really special place
It is an elegant place, with many details that make the stay tremendously comfortable. The cleanliness is exceptional and is a small apartment that is equipped with everything you need. It has views towards the golf course, which are beautiful. Everything is automated, so it works like a rented apartment. The service by e-mail was excellent, with a very friendly and solicitous girl, who granted us to be able to enter the room in advance of the time at which the check-in is officially arranged. Thank you for that, because otherwise, we would have had to wait that long in the car foolishly. The only thing I didn’t like is that there don’t seem to be permanent staff there (I saw only two people from the hotel doing cleaning, who, at 14:00 were gone) and also that they make you sign too demanding terms & conditions, in which for example, there is an extra-pay penalty if you go over the check out time or if, from 11 at night, simply a tenant neighbor complains about noise. That seems to me to be exaggerated and also too dependent on the judgment of third parties who may be persons acting maliciously or simply without objectively reasonable judgment of what is admissible or not. I had no problem, but the fact that there was a possibility that, for example, my young son might start crying at night (which he didn’t do), and that some neighbor “reported” me for it and the hotel applied that sanction without knowing who might be right about this, did not make us really calm and comfortable at night. It is something you should review so as not to overshadow the enjoyment of a stay in such a beautiful and well-kept place. I hope I have been reasonable enough in explaining this, with no intention of harming anyone but of making those in charge of the hotel reflect on it to simply achieve a perfect whole. Finally, I am sorry, but I also have to say that putting the check-out time on a Sunday at 10 am seems to me to be abusive and, even more so when we expressly requested to have some more margin and were not granted on the grounds that they needed us to be out on time to have everything prepared for the next customer. The fact that some hotels force you to check-out at 11, when all life around the world has always been conventionally at 12, I think is a degradation that is unfortunately spreading in the hospitality sector and that customers have no choice but to accept because we have no choice, but already putting check-out on a Sunday at 10, I insist, seems excessive. It's the first hotel I've seen this in (and I've seen many). Thank you.

The suite was amazing, probably one of the nicest suites we have ever stayed in and the cleanest. The balcony and view of the golf course was fantastic! Saint Mary's is a cute little town with a few shops and restaurants. We ate dinner at the Social 31 restaurant which is owned by the golf club, it was just a few minute walk up the fairway. Service and food was excellent. We ate breakfast at the Sunset Diner, a cute little local restaurant with great food and service. We also dropped by Stratford on the way home, only 20 mins away and a great Country scenic drive, tons of shops and restaurants there. We definitely will come back to the Penrose Suites!!

Quiet, clean, elegant and cozy. I would definitely stay here again and recommend.
