Well appointed good quality hotel
Evening arrival following about a 25-30 minute taxi ride from YUL airport . I am not sure about how many entrances the hotel has , but we had to enter through the area leading to the car park pass through some glass doors then get a lift to the 6th level to reach the lobby .
Lobby was busy with guests checking in but there were two front desks opposite each other , so check in did not take too long , front desk team were friendly.
My room was on the 16th floor. You get the feel of the size of the property as you make your way along the corridors to the room . Nice large Hilton standard room with all the expected amenities, clean room , big comfortable bed , good powerful shower although no anti slip rubber mat . Sleep was good , sound proofing was good too as was air conditioning.WiFi signal was ok, Some USB sockets , I tend to use my international travel plug . Hotel is in a good location with plenty of shopping areas , restaurants and bars nearby . Good quality hotel , friendly staff especially at the front desk and the bellhop/ valley at the entrance

A star of the Quartier des Spectacles!
In late July 2026, Aviron Québec commemorated the 50th anniversary of the 1976 Montreal Olympic Games by hosting people from the country and elsewhere in the world involved in this sport.
At the same time, it was highlighted that women were participating in rowing at the Olympic Games for the first time.
The legendary Quebec rower Guylaine Bernier was part of the Canadian team at that time. She has remained linked to this discipline until now, becoming, after her retirement as an athlete, an event organizer, a world-class judge and referee, and a trainer for the next generation. My spouse Ginette, whom I was accompanying, has in the past helped her sister with her volunteer work. That is why she was invited to this magnificent reunion dinner, which was held at the Doubletree By Hilton at Complexe Desjardins.
We did not sleep at this hotel in the Quartier des Spectacles, but we were able to enjoy our evening in the establishment's large Opera room.
Well-kept, spacious, modern, with a remarkable layout and lighting that was so well done. In short, you feel so good there.
And what can be said about the professionalism of its employees, the flavors of the appetizers to enjoy, and the quality of the dishes that we enjoyed there at the meal.

Perfect Hotel in the Perfect City
Very modern and clean hotel in a perfect location in downtown Montreal. The hotel is connected to a mall - Complexes Desjardins - which has a food court and shopping with lots of options. There is also an IGA Grocery in the building. The hotel also has a restaurant with amazing food and drinks - Restaurant Bivouac. The hotel staff are friendly and accommodating, which was a comfort since we are from the US and don't speak any French. The location is walkable to lots of attractions, restaurants, and landmarks, so we didn't have to drive anywhere. If we go back to Montreal, we will definitely stay here again.

Great location but currently lots of construction surrounding hotel
This hotel is in a great location. The concierge was very helpful, especially assisting me to call a restaurant regarding a dinner reservation (I do not speak French). Room was clean and perfect for our purposes. I did not eat at the hotel - but we ate at Eggspectation for breakfast which was in the attached mall and it was very good. I only have one real complaint and it is out of the hotel's control, but guests should be aware - there is construction going on all around the hotel. Do not pay extra for a city view and know that construction starts early (one morning it began at 6:45 am). It does not look like construction will be completed any time soon. Our room looked out onto St Catherine Street so request to stay on other side.

Pretty good
Hotel is nicely maintained. Valet was challenging at times / did not seem to be adequately staffed. Breakfast was great. A lot of construction right now around the hotel - I would not pay extra for a view
