Not Good
Into the evening we had a scare with mice! We started to look more around the cabin and there is mice poop in the corners and crevasses. We were able to trap one in a bowl and took it to our host who is there on site. He wasn't concerned at all and said this is common in the summer months. He was more impressed that we caught it then helping us or possibly moving us cabins. We asked why he didn't have traps set up or something to prevent this and he actually said "I cant do that as we have children stay here". We travel a lot for work and this was just shocking. As regular Air BnB or Vrbo travellers this was not what we are used to. Cleanliness is the most important and anyone staying here should be aware that there is mice in and around all the cabins as he told us. The Host should be aware that if its this frequent in the summer then its worse in the fall/ winter. We were so uncomfortable the entire evening. This ruined our stay here. We would not book here again as the host was not concerned at all. We didn't get a refund of any kind and honestly we would have preferred to be moved cabins rather then staying in the family cottage.

I will be back in the future.
Majestic views, comfortable location with almost all needs met. Owners were polite and available through text quickly.
Rustic would be a word to share but also updated, clean and relaxing.
Would be difficult for accessibility needs.
