New property
This is an apartment hotel. I stayed in an apartment with 2 bed rooms. It fitted nicely my family. We were two adults and three children. The apartment was new although small in size. It is close to the Corniche and the Towers.

Not recommended.. poor hotel
The hotel rooms are not properly maintained. The quality of the doors installed in the suites is very bad. The toilets are small and does not have proper water isolation for the shower area. The towels provided are less than the no of guests and you need to request for additional towels on daily basis. The beds size is very small and not comfortable at all in both the double and twin rooms. The sofa in the living room is very dirty and not maintained. The fridge is not cleaned. The suite is not being cleaned without requesting for the cleaning. The hotel is understaffed in general. Furthermore, the location is not good. It is near the city center but not really in the center and it is not easy to reach it with google maps.

New block, but furnished and serviced on the cheap
We stayed here for 5 nights in a 2 bedroom apartment.
What we liked:
1) Location: it is within walking distance of Souq Sharq, the Dhow Harbour, The Fisk Market, The Corniche, The Grand Mosque, the Dickson House and probably more...that is if you don't mind walking for 5 to 15 minutes in the cooler season of Kuwait.
2) Newly built: the building is only 8 months old, so the look and feel is quite modern
What we did not like:
1) Amenities: this place does not have a pool, a decent gym (it has 5 machines stuck in a box room in the basement with no windows) or a restaurant. Food can only be ordered from take away places, not great if you need a long term stay
2) Cleanliness: windows were absolutely filthy (looked like they had never been cleaned since construction finished), apartment was not automatically serviced on a daily basis (one has to ask) and when they come in, the cleaning is quite superficial (nothing is lifted up),
3) Kitchen equipment: I have never been to an apartment where there is practically nothing in the cupboards to cook with. We had crockery and cutlery for 2 when the apartment is for 4, we had no peeling knives, no serving bowls, no cereal bowls, no placemats, etc.. I had to keep packaging from what I bought to ensure I could actually serve what I was cooking. They did go out and buy some of the equipment I was looking for, but only after arguing my case
4) Bathrooms: there was no bath in the flat, only showers. The bathroom was too small to fit the shower screen in the correct position, so when taking a shower, the whole bathroom get flooded.
5) Sleep: the block is next to a mosque, so be prepared to be woken up in the middle of the night by the call to prayer
We stayed here because it was a convenient location and somebody else had made the booking for us, but it is very unlikely that we will ever return

Best apart hotel without proper kitchen utensils
I am currently staying in this apartment. New apart hotel with two bedrooms and a kitchen. Although it's in prime location the amenities are not that great.
1. Kitchen amenities - believe me there is no knife, vegetables cutting board / chopping board available. Although it can be a fully equipped kitchen. Such are the cupboard, storage racks. 3 bowels of medium and small size, 2 spoons, 2 fork and knife. Thats all. You are more than welcome to buy all others and use in the apartment. Upto you whether you take them with you or leave it.
2. WiFi - be prepared for frequent disconnects. You can't stream videos without pausing for every 10 mins. Skype calls will drop every 2 minutes.
3. Cleaning - don't get annoyed if your room was not cleaned despite your request in the morning at reception. It requires follow up.
4. Friendly staff - front office staff are friendly and courteous. 24 hours reception.
5. Near by towers and behind Amir Hospital.
Otherwise, it's a decent brand new apart hotel.
The team needs to pick up a lot.
