3 great nights in Kanta Sana
One of the best hostels we have stayed in on our trip so far. The hostel is clean and tidy and the staff were extremely friendly and helpful. The free breakfast was perfect and their lunches are not too expensive either.
We stayed in the 6 bed mixed dorm and each bed came with its own light, fan, plugs and mozquito net, which sometimes is hard to find. The hostels laundry service is reasonably priced and returned quickly.
The hostel is situated in a good location, one street over from the main street with the bars and restaurants.
It's a great place to stay in Palomino!

A lovely little hostel
A beautifully constructed and naturally decorated hostel, mainly made of wood, at a very convenient and quiet location, a short walk from the main road and the beach.
What we particularly liked is that it is full of pleasant little corners to chill in the garden, the various terraces and the bar/restaurant area. The room was pleasant (we opted for the private room option) and even though somewhat basic and with minor flaws (mainly in the bathroom and the way water used to make a pool inside that never really dried), considering the price, we remained absolutely satisfied

Beautiful place with a horrible attention…
From april 14 to april 15 i went with some friends and from the moment we arrived the “receptionist” didnt have the best attitude. And the way of ordering something is not so confortable since you have to order directly at the reception and then wait until they let the bartender know the order so you can get it.. they should work way harder on costumer service, i do NOT recommend it at all.

Great place
We were surprised by the relaxed atmosphere of this hostel! It looks stunning: completely made out of bamboo. The staff is very nice and helpful and the common area with swimming pool is great. You can relax in a hammock, play table tennis or have a good drink at the bar. The location is fine: it is a 15 minute walk to the beach and close to all kinds of restaurants. The rooms are pretty basic: comfortable bed with a mosquito net and a cold shower, but we didn't need more, because we were only in the room at night. :) the weather turned really bad the first day and we had a little water in the room, but we didn't really suffer from this because the rest of the days were great! I can imagine that it might be a little annoying if there is a lot of rain.

Favorite hostel!
I stayed in Kanta Sana for more than 2 weeks, and loved this place!! I’ve been traveling for almost a year in South America, and it’s for sure one of my favorite hostel so far!
The hostel is perfectly located, less than 10min walking from the beach and 5min from the Main Street!
Staying at Kanta Sana is an experience, it’s like waking up in the trees, you can walk barefoot all day, the hostel is mainly made with wood and bamboo! The pool is great and with a huge terrasse (perfect to practice some yoga)!
And people are amazing!!
