Wonderful coffee tour

We had a wonderful tour of the coffee and cocoa farm from Felipe, the owner's son, who speaks wonderful English, which is very unusual for this region. It was very informative and enjoyable and then he took us to his grandmother's farm where the processing is done. Would highly recommend his tour.
The finca itself is lovely but not quite as rural as I had hoped. Pretty room and friendly staff. Typical Colombian breakfast of eggs with fresh juice from the garden and fresh fruit.
We only had one dinner and it was a very plain meal so we did not eat there again. This was a shame as we had hoped for some delicious Colombian country cooking. We were the only guests staying so maybe the food is better when they have more people to cook for.
Definitely go for the coffee tour and stay the night too.

A wonderful stay in a traditional Colombian coffee farm

We loved this place, the tranquility , the nature and history around it, the hospitality of their staff, the comfort of our stay and delicious traditional breakfast. Maria Teresa is an excellent host, communication was swift from day one, she assisted us with all our questions, gave us recommendations to the various activities in the area and was very attentive throughout our stay. Her son Felipe gave us the Coffee Farm Tour showing us the coffee selection/process in their own family farm which has over a century of existence. The “finca” is exactly as shown in the pictures, traditional, comfortable and clean. Highly recommend it to anyone wanting to experience a traditional Colombian Coffee Farm. Our children loved it so much that they refer to it as the “Encanto” house. We will come back !

Amazing tours

Very beautiful house, very clean, they have always coffee in the morning, the "tours" were outstanding, very peaceful nights, hot water and a restaurant with great food, it's easy to find and they have comfortable beds, super friendly Manager and crew.

Wonderful quiet vacation spot

Wonderful rural rustic ranch style home with beautiful views and close to nature. The host was very accommodating and treated us like family. We enjoyed delicious home cooked meals. We also took the local tour offered by her son Felipe - great opportunity to learn about the cycle of coffee from bean to cup. Good place to decompress.

Unspoilt Quindio

This Finca is absolutely charming in the midst of the rural tranquility of Quindío. Maria Theresa’s hospitality was exemplary. This extended to some very fine cooking of local cuisine. We enjoyed the stunning bird life to be viewed from the comfort of the terrace of a period property. There are marvellous walks to be enjoyed around the finca that supports coffee, cocoa, plantain, bananas and vegetables. Felipe, their son, speaks excellent English and will give you a tour of the different fincas the family owns. This is an ideal opportunity to experience the exceptional delights of rural Quindio.
