Very few options for breakfast. This is not a buffet breakfast. Great Staff and the owner was very friendly. I would stay here again

Disappointed foreigners
Beautiful hotel and very helpful staff. But incredibly we could not shower with hot water during the 6 days there. Shameful that a 4 star hotel will not have the hot water service.
On the first day buffet breakfast on the other days the buffet breakfast disappeared. Just coffee, coffee c/milk, fruit, some scrambled egg and on top of that we teach them to make ham and cheese toast sandwiches.
Too bad, really.
I wouldn't come back. They lack tourism professionalism.

Disappointing
We had booked this hotel for one night before we left for Ciudad Perdida, and the experience fell far short.
As soon as we arrived, the rooms were not ready, which is understandable when you arrive before check-in time. However, when we asked if it was possible to access a room an hour and a half ahead of schedule, we were offered to pay 50% for an extra night... for less than two hours! A frankly disappointing and unwelcoming policy.
In the meantime, we waited on the terrace. It was in a deplorable state: broken glasses littered the ground, making the place not only dirty, but also dangerous. A real lack of maintenance.
As for the location, it also leaves something to be desired. The surrounding streets are dirty and give off unpleasant smells, which does not help to appreciate the setting.
To be fair, the rooms are good and seem to meet the advertised standards. But unfortunately this does not compensate for the many negatives of our stay.

Bad stay
Good, we really leave very unhappy with the hotel and services provided.
I leave a list of what happened and our experiences
-From 7 days only 1 bathed with hot water. We gave notice at reception and they didn't fix anything.
-They changed our room, because the TV was broken, and the air did not cool and we were told that the problem of hot water was the room, it was not.
-The room was clean, they only laid the bed. There were days we left sand in the shower and they didn't clean up. The same with the towels, they were dirty and did not change them, we had to call reception for the change.
Stained sheets. Plus it was a queen bed that had 1 bed sheets diagonally
They promised a breakfast buffet that wasn't. A waitress came up and offered us 5 things to eat for breakfast, without much variety. Only 1 day was buffet and there was also no variety. They didn't have ham or cheese to make a sandwich. There were no juices. Scarce fruit. Very basic.
VERY IMPORTANT FOR FUTURE TOURISTS IN SANTA MARTA:
-It is located in a red area, trash, noise, markets, vendors area, homeless. At night we had to order Uber because we didn't feel safe to walk.
For people of Uruguay, to imagine you can buy with the Jewish quarter but multiplied by a thousand. And much more dirt. A lot of smell in the streets of pipe, only in that area
Anyway, we do not recommend this hotel. Lots of cons. Much better some closer to the park of the bride and groom

I did not like. BAD LOCATION
I didn't like the hotel. The value for the location is high, they are in the CENTER Center, an area not to go out after 6. The reception looks like that of a motel and the service is poor, the night receptionist lying in the chair playing. Bad cleaning of the rooms, there was a small cockroach in the bed, so I slept with it. Good terrace, dining room staff and breakfast, nothing more, I would not return
