Fantastic location on the beach, loving team, perfect mix of comfort and nature.
We spent some wonderful days at Playa Koralia and can recommend this place without reservation. The location right by the sea is fantastic – you fall asleep to the sound of the waves and wake up to birdsong. The complex is nestled in lush nature, lovingly designed and immediately gives a sense of calm and relaxation. We would particularly like to highlight the team: All employees are warm, attentive and at the same time unobtrusive – you feel welcome immediately. The cuisine is also a highlight: fresh, regional ingredients, deliciously prepared and served varied. Very practical: WhatsApp makes it easy to organise everything from transfers to excursions and small requests on site. So we could enjoy tubing, explore Tayrona National Park, horseback riding, experience massages and discover waterfalls with private guides. For us it was the perfect retreat to recharge your batteries and have an unforgettable time.
The cuisine at Playa Koralia is fresh, regional and really excellent – especially the encocado was a highlight. For a stay of a few days absolutely fitting, for longer stays (>1 week) could do a little more variety. For example, a daily changing menu or a ‘Catch of the Day’ would be nice to make the already very good cuisine even more varied.

We had the opportunity to get to know Playa Koralia and we have been delighted with the place, the site is spectacular and the food has a good variety, the common areas in excellent condition and the customer service phenomenal, the team is very helpful.

Bad experience for the price being paid
It all started when I requested a quote. It always took several days for a question. They don't answer the phone and rarely the WA. After insisting by email that they don’t answer me, I suddenly received an answer and with the second question, the game started again. I also could not make the 50% advance with my international credit card. The menu with meals is very small and the portions very small. Once I was offered salad with prawns, I received a small portion of salad with 5 super small shrimp. The answer was that they were wrong, not with prawns, but with shrimp. The juices tasted like pure water. Although they offered desserts on the internet and in the fisca menu, there were none. Only after much insistence, did they make one, days later. The beach chairs were not enough for the number of people. There were people who paid for an internship at another nearby hotel so they could sit down and also have a good lunch. The massage lady smelled of onions and tomatoes and that explained that she had washed her hands very well. The road to my cabin had no light to go to dinner. After insisting, they set a lamp on the road. Good thing he had a flashlight, otherwise he didn't come. Every time the water bottle in the dining room was empty and it is time to beg for a new one. Not to mention coffee in the morning. It took a long time to pump into the jug to get a cup of coffee and also every time it was over. Several guests went to a hostel next door for coffee, cappuccino or dessert. The toilet rooms were only done after complaining at 3pm that all the insects were still found in the previous night's flat and the beds unmade. I find the hotel too expensive for the service it offers. It didn't meet my expectations at all.

REST AND CONNECTION WITH NATURE
THE PLACE IS PERFECT FOR RESTING, SLEEPING, READING A BOOK, DOING YOGA AND RECEIVING A RELAXING MASSAGE. THE ROOMS ARE CLEAN, SPACIOUS. THE STAFF IS VERY FRIENDLY. THE BEACHES ARE EXTENSIVE FOR WALKING, THE SEA TO WATCH IT THERE WAS RED FLAG EVERY DAY. THEY HAVE PRESERVED MANY NATIVE TREES, YOU SEE VARIOUS BIRDS. TRANSPORT ORGANIZED BY PLAYA KORALIA WORKS WELL.

One particular morning stands out: I took a quiet stroll along the beach as the sun rose, the golden light dancing on the water. It was a moment of pure peace, the kind you rarely find in our busy, bustling lives.
Magical places like Playa Koralia are becoming fewer and fewer. This is a gem of a retreat where the harmony between nature and hospitality is perfectly preserved. Such places are rare, and they deserve to be cherished.

The accommodations blend seamlessly with the natural surroundings, and the care and attention from the staff make you feel like part of a family.
