Adorable family, authentic stay, safe environment, arrived in the middle of the Caribbean!k.

Super adorable family has painted individual Caribbean cottages original with corrugated iron roof and colorful. You feel in the middle of the Caribbean. The environment is safe and you are in the middle of real life in the Domrep. Small pool, own kitchen for self-catering. 7KM to Macau Beach. A family friend had rented me a motorcycle cheaply and I explored the area from there. Was there three weeks without stress or problems. Super good!

VERY HUMBLE RUSTIC HOME

I needed an affordable place after my return flight was cancelled and 3 additional nights were added to my already expensive vacation that was spent on a beautiful all inclusive beachfront resort. I knew I would be taking a major downgrade and I would have stayed here but there is no air conditioning and I did not feel comfortable with the area. Great place as long as you know Spanish and are comfortable with locals. I have 3 kids with me and wanted to be able to walk the neighborhood but just didn't feel comfortable with the location so I left after one night. The host Miguel is so very warm and welcoming. The house is clean, comfortable and has what you basically need (sheets, TV, soap, plates, pots, pans, utensils, kitchen, dining area, outdoor semi enclosed patio set). REALLY great spot for those on a budget and REALLY want to hang with the locals who were very friendly. Bring Dominican pesos for the businesses

Stay in Dominican Republic

We spent a great week in this accommodation. This one is spacious and very well equipped. We had everything we needed to cook on site and the bedding is of very good quality. There are several grocery stores nearby for basic purchases.
Miguel, his wife and daughters, the owners of this accommodation; who live nearby; are warm and extremely welcoming hosts. We had a long time to talk with them, it was great! Far from the soulless hotels of Punta cana, we had a great holiday in the Dominican Republic and were able to crisscross the surroundings by car (possibility to park in front of the accommodation)
