Practical

Also for non-golfers practical basis for excursions to the "Bohemian Switzerland" or the Saxon Elbe Sandstone Mountains. Clean, modern, spacious rooms, good food, friendly staff. Extra point: the in-house coffee roastery. Reservation recommended, also because of the limited number of parking spaces.

Good hotel

We received a very warm welcome here. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Our room was nice and warm when we arrived at the end of October and everything was clean. The room is a pleasant size and spacious. The bathroom and shower are also nice and big and everything worked well. The towels and bed linen smelled fresh. We were able to sleep very comfortably in the beds despite our orthopedic problems. The mattresses are of good quality. There were several large cupboards with plenty of storage space, a desk with a chair and a refrigerator in the room. The internet was sometimes fast and reliable and sometimes slow in the evening. We found the breakfast buffet good and completely sufficient, even though we have stayed in cheaper hotels with a bit more choice. But everything you needed to fill you up was there and everything was fresh and tasted good. The two ladies in the restaurant were friendly and hard-working, quickly refilled the buffet and cleaned the tables thoroughly after each guest. In the evenings you could eat and drink well and very cheaply in the restaurant until 8 p.m. There were even highchairs available in the restaurant. At the end of October there were enough parking spaces, which were a bit tight but completely OK. From the hotel you have a beautiful view of a children's playground, which is right next to the hotel, as well as the golf course.
Unfortunately, some of the floor tiles in the bathroom were not properly attached.

Good accommodation but with some aspects that could be improved

Pleasant hotel overall, with some solvable flaws.
PROS:
- large room in a new or recently renovated structure
- good breakfast overall, quite varied
- annex (where we are located) in the greenery, very quiet place
- courtesy of the owner
AGAINST:
- the annex is not very close to the hotel and it is not very easy to find it (there is a narrow street...), the directions given to us (in English) upon arrival are not very clear, it takes us a while to find it
- the third bed - sofa bed - we have to prepare it ourselves; It's happened to me elsewhere but I don't appreciate it
- large bathroom but you don't know where to place/hang things (beauty, towels...)

Nicely located hotel

We had a pleasant stay in hotel Devitka. Janov is a little village just a few kilometers behind the German border.
Our room was very clean, cleverly laid out and with comfortable beds. There were two huge TV in our two bedrooms. The bathroom was also very clean and modern. The balcony was also nice, but it was too cold to sit out there for too long.
There were only two things that bothered us a little. First thing was the breakfast, which lacked some fruit or a little more variety. And the second thing was, that on one day our room was not made, since we forgot to hang the "please clean up"-sign on the door. When we did that on our second day, one of the rooms was not cleaned.

Für Golfspieler ist es schon schön

Wir haben auf dem Weg in den Urlaub dort einen Stopp eingelegt um den dortigen Golfplatz zu spielen.Auf dem Golfplatz waren wir schon öfter,(eine Perle) aber noch nie im Hotel.Von dem Abendessen waren wir wirklich sehr angenehm überrascht, sehr lecker.Die Lokale in Grenznähe sind eigentlich nicht bekannt für tolles Essen.Zimmer sauber, einfach aber Zweckmässig mit Balkon.Dass einzige Manko, trotz Grenznähe kein einziger Deutscher Fernsehsender!!?? schade eigentlich.
