Review about the restaurant

Tasty food big portions,good service. Prices are a bit higher than in some other restaurants. Centrally located, just next to the river. Cosy outside sitting area. Unfortunately it was a windy and rainy day. We may come back to summer to enjoy this place again:)

Wonderful location. Great staff. Would have preferred a cooling unit option in the room, we had to open the windows with no screen, at night. Specifically contact them ahead of time for a parking spot otherwise you will walk about 5 minutes for covered paid parking.

Recommended

Very good location, very nice reception area. Nice clean rooms and adequate breakfast.
A bit difficult to get to the hotel to unload the suitcases.
Tip, enter at Navi Hotel Olympia and then turn right at this hotel into the pedestrian zone. Then you come directly to the Salvatore.

Basic hotel in a spectacular location.Rooms were very dated .no English tv channels
Curtains didn’t close properly.Lack of sockets.
My tips for fellow traveler’s are definitely book a balcony room To get some air in the room
it’s shocking to me that all rooms don’t have air conditioning. Even with a balcony the room was uncomfortable.
Secondly if you have a late arrival bring sandwiches
The entire spa zone area from the thermal hotel to the grand pupp hotel closes at 10 pm
It literally turns into a ghost town nowhere to eat and I mean nowhere everything closes . We arrived late after a delayed flight and literally had to go to bed hungry the male hotel receptionist was of no assistance to us when we asked about location of somewhere to eat ie take away or sandwich.
The breakfast is very basic.
as was the terrace cafe restaurant we only ate here once and were asked by staff how much of a tip we were giving them there are far nicer restaurants all around the area.I couldn’t recommend this hotel given the standard of accommodation and service in the other hotels In the area.I have always found the positive in every hotel we stay in unfortunately it is not the case here .

Acceptable accommodation in Karlovy Vary

The location in the middle of the town and at the colonnades is of course perfect for exploring the town - but if you want to take trips by train you have to be prepared for long journeys to the two train stations. The bed was good and comfortable - but I cannot understand why the basics are not implemented in this hotel: No toilet paper holder - the rolls on a stick on the ground - the sheets naturally hang on the ground (hygiene is different), no Holder for the shower, the supposed blackout curtains are a joke (dark curtains - but because of the way they are, it gets light with sunrise (lots of fun in summer)). And soundproof windows? The hotel also seems to interpret the hotel in an idiosyncratic way. The only consolation is that there is almost no traffic at night. What kind of background noise might be like when the weather is nice in the high season when the restaurants outside are full of activity? The safe was not usable - not acceptable for a 4-star hotel.
The breakfast was acceptable - but nothing more. It's just a matter of taste... My conclusion: You can have a short stay there, but you shouldn't be lured by the not entirely accurate descriptions of the alleged advantages...
