Good choice

Spent just one night there. I felt welcomed from the very first moment. Were able to check in at 11 o'clock. The girl at the desk was nice and really helpful. The room was simple and small, but clean. I have to praise the hotel restaurant. The food is really good. Lunch, dinner, breakfast as well. Any time again.

Nice looking hotel but awful behavior of the staff

The last day of our visit me and my friends were very unpleasantly surprised. As we woke up and went to have a breakfast a servant came to us and told us that their guests were not happy with our behavior during night because we were too loud at 4 am so they couldn’t sleep. She also told us their guests wanted some cash back and the hotel couldn’t afford not to give it to them because they didn’t want to get bad rating in Booking.com and the hotel wanted us to give them the cash. It wouldn’t be a problem if it was true. We came to the hotel at 1 pm calmly and went to sleep immediately. So if someone else was loud or the other guests just made it up fine, but it is not my problem! The staff could’ve sort things out during the night and they did not. So if you are young just don’t go there, they ll think they can afford to do anything to you (we didn’t give them the money) if you’re old embittered man then you can simply make a complaint for no reason and they might give you money.

Vinothek Merlot

Booked a table for 10 persons in the wine boutique - and had a super dinner - only a few ordered the same, and it all came in perfect servings.
The rooms are cosy and clean.
Breakfast super - and the coffee nice and strong.
Hope to visit again in 2015.

Excelent

I have stayed at merlot in multiple occasions.
The location is perfect, less than 10 minutes walk to any restaurant or bar in town.
The staff will go out of their way to make sure you are comfortable.
The Restaurant has some Czech Food (mainly the daily specials) and also some of the best international cuisine I have tasted. If you are in town stop by for a great meal at a great price.
Best hotel I have ever stayed for the money.

Again great staff great chef prices are very good food is top quality 2 off us for lunch 2drinks main course one sweet £15 you can not get any better !!
