The location is perfect, on the Mala Strana side of the Charles Bridge. Close to many restaurants and parks in the area, and just across the Old City. The staff in the Tourist Office (that serves as hotel staff since there is no reception in the building itself) was really helpful. On the last day after checkout, we left the luggage in the office and when we came back at the end of a rainy day, they gave us towels and allowed us to use their bathroom to change our clothes.

Super accommodation!

Beautiful accommodation (no breakfast) in nicely renovated historic building. Perfect location near the Charles Bridge on the quiet Kampa side. Our apartment on the first floor (no elevator) consisted of a large bedroom with 2 double beds, a sitting room with comfortable furniture, fridge, coffee/tea, wine glasses; and a very spacious bathroom with toilet (not separate) and double walk-in shower. Check-in/check-out across the street, with otherwise great service. Various breakfast options nearby. Ditto nice restaurants / terraces. Recommended!

Lovely boutique hotel on the left bank of Prague with very comfortable beds!!

We really loved this hotel - most importantly for me is the comfort & quality of the bedding and the Domus Balthasar did not disappoint.  The beds were really comfortable and the duvets and pillows were all duck down & feather - heaven! As we were 3 girls, we had booked a junior suite as it offered 2 double beds. The room was large and very stylish and the bathroom was large and beautiful too - all black & white in design and really good quality fixtures and fittings. There was a nice living room area too and plenty of windows which opened for fresh air. The location was also very good - just a minute's walk from the Charles Bridge, on the left bank.  Note the right bank is where the Old Town is, and whilst the area is very beautiful it is the more touristy area and where a lot of the hen and stag parties are based, so yes we were very pleased with our location on the left bank, as it felt more local and neighbourhood.  The hotel itself doesn't actually have a reception desk, so someone from the tourist information desk (literally opposite the hotel) comes and meets you to check you in etc. which seems to work well.

Rooms are nice, clean and spacious. Location is great. I do not recommend the breakfast. I thought breakfast was inside the hotel but it is in an actual restaurant. The restaurant staff weren't the nicest and food was cold and just average, not bad but not great. I would rather have breakfast somewhere else. Keep in mind that there is no elevator and stairs are steep. We did struggle with our 70 year old mom bringing luggage down. Other than that beautiful building. I do recommend it 100%.

Staff, room, location were excellent! We loved the hotel and the breakfast was amazing.
