Overall ok. We where unluvky to get a room on top floor...no elevator. Was a bit tricky finding the reception but we figured it out! The bathroom had such a strong smell of chlorine that it was hard breathing....other than that overall good

Bad beds, less than minimal amenities and question mark over security.

Even for the price I wouldn't recommend staying here.
We saw one member of staff on one occassion, which was when we were checking in and we didn't even receive a 'hello' just a 'passport'. Told us because there were so few guests staying that breakfast would be in a different building and wouldn't start until 11. She didn't really tell us much more than that. Can't comment on the food as we did pay for breakfast to be included but judging by the building, we thought best to avoid eating here.
- Accessibility: This building isn't suitable for anyone who struggles with mobility, we were on the 4th floor, so theres 8 sets of stairs to haul your luggage up.
- Beds: We weren't really fussy on getting a beyond basic place to stay, as this was a holiday we just needed somewhere to rest our heads at night, but the mattresses are really poor. I kept waking in the night with hip pain due to the firmness/thiness of the mattress.
I usually sleep with 1 pillow, but if you need 2, you're only provided with 1 per person.
- Amenities: you get 2 little glasses and a mini t.v. There's a door, our handle was coming apart, that leads to a balcony. Our view was of surrounding delapodated buildings with waste and building debris. So we didn't utilise our balcony other tban to keep some bottled drinks cold outside on the floor.
- Security: As above, we only saw 1 member of staff over our 4 day stay. Past a certain time they padlock a large metal bar accross the office door, which doesnt provide you with much confidence in the security of the building. Interesting they feel the necessity to have a security bar across the office door...but the 20+ guest rooms they're content to take a gamble on.
You have a fob to gain access to the full building and a key for your room. There's no signage to warn about people letting individuals in who arent guests or tailgating, so anyone could potentially find a way into the building. There doesnt seem to be any survellience cameras or security measures in place. There's a sign up in the room saying to essentially not leave anything in your room.
- Hot water: the shower turned cold after a few minutes, so not sure if you only get a set period of time with hot water.
- Scent: there's an overpowering chemical smell when you come into the room, whether its bleach or disinfectant, its a struggle to tolerate. It's like if TCP married Dettol and had a chemical baby.
- Cleanliness: seemed clean and tidy enough, but the tap was leaking, so the hand towel they had left hanging over the sink was already soaked.
Then we dropped the keys in a box and left on the last day with marginal hip problems from the mattresses.
Really cheap but the disrupted sleep due to the beds and the apparent lack of security for guests means I wouldn't stay here again.

Terrible! Don't book!

Not recommended. We were put in a guest house across the street. Room was terribly dusty. Hit my lungs in such a way that it bothered me for a week. We have been 4 nights. Beds were not changed and also to change the towels we had to ask. The room was also not cleaned in between and we had to drink from the same glass for five days. Of the 4 days of breakfast we had booked, we received 2 days of a lunch box that was not proportionate to what we paid for it. Sticky sandwich, bottle of water and and an apple/tangerine.

Helpful staff. Small but perfectly functional room. Hot water, good shower.
Well situated. And incredibly reasonably priced
