Very cozy hotel.

When we arrived (5 people), the owner was very welcoming we were quickly checked in and got packed out.
When we came down again they had provided cold beers, and their helpfulness would never end. They helped us with several different things during the 3 nights we had.
Borrowed us a Bluetooth speaker so we could have fun in the evening.
Super lovely hosts, nice rooms okay breakfast.

A lovely experience.

We were greeted by a smiling Andrea and her husband Vladimir.
The hotel is a beautiful gem with old interior and lots of soul.
They are really hospitable and helpful.
A lovely and authentic experience.

Friendly, flexible, and a great experience!

We were organizing a seminar in Terezín, and needed accommodations and meals for our attendees. Not only were the rooms pretty and clean, but the owner was super friendly and flexible. The food was delicious. The hotel was able to provide catering for us at a second location, breakfast for all attendees, even those not accommodated at the hotel, as well as lunches. We originally had a different place booked for dinners, but they canceled on us less than two days before the seminar. Hotel Memorial was flexible enough to provide delicious dinners for 14 people for two nights they didn't know in advance about. The food was delicious, the personnel friendly, and they made sure to provide options for gluten-free, vegetarian, and all other requirements or preferences.
I would absolutely recommend them as an option for people who need room and board in a beautiful building, but also as catering and restaurant.

Okay hotel for the price

I would call this a one-star hotel by European standards. Pleasant young woman staffing the hotel. Big hotel, long walk to room, but I think we were the only guests! The air conditioning was broken so we had to live with an open window (fortunately no mosquitos). Bed was comfortable enough. We used an app translator to communicate with staff, who were helpful with restaurant and other recommendations. Breakfast was included and was okay but not great. The hotel is right on the central square in the garrison town. Ghetto museum across the street. Odd but good Vietnamese restaurant around the corner (if they tell you there's no beer, don't believe them). An easy one mile walk to the small fortress where the Terezinstadt tours take place. Note: We arrived by public bus from Prague which dropped us off right on the square. We departed by train and discovered we would need a taxi cab to get there (unless you are young and strong; we are not). The hotel clerk called a cab for us, which was very nice of her. Just noting these details in case you are traveling by public transit.

Couldn't have been more pleased

I spent 3 days in Terezin, exploring the former ghetto and the small fortress. Hotel Memorial was apparently closed for the winter season (as was the other hotel in Terezin) but agreed to open for me. I was the only guest for this December stay. The hotel was lovely and comfortable, though formal. I stayed in the smallest (and very reasonable) room, and was quite comfortable. Even as the only guest of the hotel, I felt safe and secure. Though no English (my only language) was spoken, I was met at the hotel on arrival and we managed to communicate enough to orient me. An excellent breakfast was served each morning. I would certainly return to this hotel, and recommend it for your stay in Terezin.
