Exceptional service and breathtaking views

An excellent experience. From the first moment, the staff's attention was exceptional: everyone was very kind, attentive, and always willing to help, making our stay even more pleasant.
The views are truly spectacular and, without a doubt, one of the hotel's biggest attractions. The scenery is breathtaking, especially at sunset, and creates a perfect atmosphere to relax and enjoy the place.
In addition, everything was very well maintained and the overall experience exceeded our expectations. It is a hotel that I would definitely return to and that I totally recommend, both for the quality of the service and for its incredible location and views.

En Lagarta Lodge buscamos que cada momento sea especial, ofreciéndole un espacio para descansar, disfrutar de experiencias de bienestar, conectar con la naturaleza a través de distintas aventuras y, sobre todo, sentirse atendida con una hospitalidad cálida y genuina.

I appreciated that a hotel as lovely as this was still welcoming to families. Breakfast was delicious. We recommend going to local restaurants for lunch and dinner - Il Pepperoni and Al Chile were favorites. We also appreciated the monkey bridge that brought a family of 20+ monkeys to the tree next to our room! A trip highlight. Our final morning we visited Sibu Wildlife Refuge and it was incredible.

Peaceful, Beautiful

We had a wonderfully peaceful time at Lagarta Lodge. We stayed for 5 days in a panoramic suite, which we highly recommend - spacious, great views of the reserve and the ocean, extremely quiet. The property is beautiful and well maintained. There are three pools, which never seemed crowded. The walk down to the beach was quick and easy and the hotel offers a free shuttle several times a day. We enjoyed the restaurant in the morning and a few times for dinner. It didn't seem overly pricey relative to other Nosara restaurants. The few trips we booked through the hotel were well done and they were able to recommend other tours/tour companies for excursions they didn't offer. The front desk was incredibly helpful and the staff overall is friendly and professional. The only less than stellar part was a mix up with the timing of our ride back to the airport (the airport is tiny and you definitely DO NOT need to arrive there 3 hours early, let alone the 4 hours we had to wait at the airport. On a Friday afternoon, you might need an hour, but even that's doubtful.) But that's nit-picky and stands out only because everything else was so perfect. We would definitely return!

Would absolutely recommend

Lagarta Lodge was wonderful! The friendly staff, the property, the stunning views and nature - it has it all. I would absolutely recommend it to anyone. We also did the e-boat tour and the tour of the nature reserve and loved both.
