Cheap and cozy place
This hostel is run by a mother and her daughters who were very helpful in giving us all the information we needed on buses and the surroundings of Manuel Antonio. The room was big with 2 fans. Very hot during the day but ok during the night. A common area with a kitchen is available for use. Restaurants, bars, bus and supermarkets all in walking distance.
The bed wasn't that comfortable since it sank with our weight. All else ok.

Great Price
We stayed over Christmas and for the price for this area it was a bargain. The house was run by a family and were very lovely and friendly. Off the main road and a short walk to the , 365colons, to Manuel Antonio beach and national park. WiFi & cable tv, freezer & clean sheets everyday. The only thing was the smell of mold was apparent but this is

Nice and convenient
We stayed at Blue Morfo house for one night in a shared room and really enjoyed the place: clean, kitchen well equipped compared to other places in Costa Rica, nice people. Not too far from the beach, even though taking the bus is recommended. There is a supermarket round the corner where you can buy anything you need. Towels and soap are provided. The only thing I did not like is that,when booking,they ask you for a credit card number "for safety",but then they only accept cash when acrually paying for the accomodation and they say you can't pay with carsa. This is a bit unsettling,they should not be asking for a credit card number in the first place.

good, but not for everyone
I enjoyed staying here. I definitely felt far away from my normal life there. Cooking breakfast at 6:30 in the morning while listening to Howler Monkeys announce the dawn was a beautiful experience. The people who run it were incredibly nice and did a great job of keeping the room clean.
That being said, it would not be everyone´s cup of tea. First there is not air conditioner, just a fan. The temperature at night was cool so this was not a problem for us and we never even used the fan. Worse was the fact that there is no warm water for the shower. While after a hot day at the beach this is not a problem, this made taking a shower in the morning rather jolting. Finally the room we had was basically an extension of the living room. There is a door, but the window is just a screen and a curtain, no glass the keep out noise. There is absolutely no privacy. The night comes early in Costa Rica, 5:30, so by 9:30 we were in bed. If anyone decides to cook after that or watch T.V. sleep is impossible. Everyone is supposed to be quiet after 9:30 but that depends on the quests, While we we there that was not always the case. The other guests tried to be quiet but when you can hear the people cutting meat on their plate, that is impossible.
Manuel Antonio is very expensive.The prices at Blue Morpho can´t be beat. The street it is on is nice and there is a good supermarket at the corner. The kitchen has everything so cooking was great and recommended. Walking down to the the beaches of Biesanz and Espadilla is easy (getting back is a tough uphill walk). The buses to Quepos and the park pass close by every 15 minutes for less than a dollar.
For the price, I would stay there again.

Bueno y barato
Lugar acogedor, la anfitriona Abby fue muy amable y nos dio varios datos útiles para movernos y visitar Manuel Antonio. Todo muy limpio y las habitaciones tenian buena aislación sonora entre sí, pero se escuchaban los vecinos de abajo y gente de afuera toda la noche (nos quedamos un fin de semana), por lo que dormíamos mal. En el lugar hace un calor insoportable pero tienen ventiladores bien potentes que lo solucionan un poco. No hay agua caliente, pero no se echa de menos por el calor que hace.
