Excellent space and layout of the property, lovely terrace, comfy bed.
Negatives:
No direct comms with the host, which was a shame as I was advised we would hear from them via WhatsApp which did not happen. The person who let us in didn’t speak any English (appreciate as a Brit this is my problem) but it meant things like learning about local transport links wasn’t possible. The shower head was broken meaning it sprayed absolutely everywhere including in your face, this is cheap to replace and shouldn’t be left in this way really. Only given one towel each and one shared bath towel for two guests. Had to ask for more towels. The shower door/shower tray leaked meaning the bathroom floor got soaking wet. These are easy fixes to get right and yet did have an impact on our stay.
There was sadly a very unkept parrot in a dirty cage, which badly needed cleaned, void of enrichment, toys, nutritious foods or comforts. Most of the time the parrot was laying on the base bars of his cage which was heartbreaking to see every day of our trip. I care about animal welfare and this was just unacceptable. It will be like a living hell for him. Why keep a beautiful bird if you will neglect him like this.

No body soup, bed sheet and blanket is very old. Very little communication when checkin time.
Because of my late flight, I asked to keep my luggage and they said ok. When I came back to pick up I foind that no body at the property and luggage storage room wa UNLOCKED.

Spacious apartment with oarkong
The bedroom had aircon, the shower in the bathroom was powerful and hot. The kitchen was equipped with a microwave, kettle, hob, fridge, plenty of utensils, pans and condiments. There is a small supermarket very close by, 2 bakeries and a pizza restaurant. We didn’t eat at the pizza restaurant but it always looked busy. I can vouch for the bakery’s bread though!
Umbrellas and guide books are available for use. Both of which came in handy.
The new town with banks and post office is a short walk down a lot of steps - a lot of the cashpoints charge a commission but the ones here don’t. A bit further along is the port where all the cruise ships come in.
There’s plenty to say about Dubrovnik and others have said it better than I could but we had a great couple of days. The town is magical and the ice cream to die for!

Host is amazing. Very helpful. Helps us coordinate pick up from bus station and coordinate transport to airport. She is amazing and helpful.
Two great bakeries and pizza place ariund the corner.
