Teleportation in 1980
Yes rooms are bit renewed. Air conditioners are installed. New tiles in bathroom and new simple furniture in rooms.
But we were not there because hotel is fancy. We were there because of the place, and place is amazing.
Service can be better but is generally ok. Stuff is doing what they can and management is as one can expect from state owned companies.
They could tell us up in front that one day there will be no water do to ongoing construction works. It was surprising that there is no water in bathroom.
All in all we enjoyed our 8 days there.
We will come again next year!

Our stay at Hotel Neptun on Brijuni Island was exceptional from beginning to end. In a world where hospitality often feels standardized and transactional, Hotel Neptun delivers something increasingly rare: genuine, old-school hospitality at its finest. Every employee we encountered was warm, professional, attentive, and sincerely dedicated to making guests feel welcome.
A special thank you goes to Aleksandar and Sanja at reception. Their kindness, professionalism, and willingness to assist with every request elevated our experience significantly. They are wonderful ambassadors for both the hotel and Brijuni itself.
What makes this destination truly extraordinary is the combination of the hotel's heartfelt service and the incomparable atmosphere of Brijuni. The island offers complete seclusion, tranquility, and a sense of peace that is difficult to find anywhere else in the Adriatic. The views are magnificent, the vegetation impeccably maintained, and every walk reveals another beautiful corner of this remarkable national park.
From the historic golf courses and the fascinating safari park to the enduring legacy of Tito, Brijuni is a place where nature, history, and culture blend seamlessly. Days pass slowly here, in the best possible way, surrounded by silence, greenery, and breathtaking scenery.
If you appreciate authentic hospitality, timeless elegance, and destinations with soul rather than spectacle, Hotel Neptun and Brijuni are a perfect choice. We left feeling rested, inspired, and already planning our return.

unique and peaceful
Special praise goes to Sanja at reception for her kindness, warmth and excellent advice. Her recommendations about the best spots on Brijuni made our stay even more memorable.
Our room was spacious and spotlessly clean. The breakfast buffet was rich with plenty of choices, and both the breakfast staff and the Kavana staff were wonderful, friendly and always helpful.
The hotel itself may be just a tiny bit outdated, but honestly that becomes part of its charm. It offers something very few places can: a truly unique experience, sitting literally on the seaside, in an unique location.
The most magical moment of our stay came in the evening after the last tourist boat had departed. The island suddenly became peaceful and quiet, and sitting alone on the Kavana terrace with our drinks, with the sea right there in front of us, felt incredibly special.
Thank you to the whole team for making our stay so enjoyable. We will be back with our family and friends.
