Great location and room!
The room is excellent. Location exceptional, right downtown. Frane from the company is the most helpful person ever and extremely pleasant, when you call him he’s always willing to help and brings everything you need. Only down part is that there is no elevator. Even though Frane helps you with the luggage and all.

Rejected last minute and ignored by hosts
My partner and I booked this apartment through Expedia for the last week of July months in advance. On 5th July, we received a message from the host saying that they could no longer accept our reservation as they’d had guests with Covid so the apartment had to be empty for 2 weeks. I questioned whether this would actually affect us, as our check-in date was more than 2 weeks from the day they messaged us, and told them that if they couldn’t accommodate us we wanted a full refund. My message was opened by the host within 5 minutes, but they chose to ignore it.
I allowed them a day to respond to the message before chasing them up, and still didn’t receive a response from them. I sent them another message the following morning (7th July) asking them to confirm either our reservation going ahead or our refund, and told them that if I still hadn’t heard from them by 5pm I would be contacting Expedia. This message was never opened by the host, and so I had to take the matter to Expedia to get our money back.
I am skeptical of the fact that the apartment needs to be empty for 2 weeks, as I’m sure that even during the height of the pandemic it only needed to be 48 hours with a deep clean. I suspect that they cancelled our booking to allow someone else to rebook it at a higher price than we did and gain more profit which is completely immoral.
I definitely would not recommend booking this apartment unless you don’t mind running the risk of being rejected at last minute and having to do a lot of legwork to try and get your money back because the hosts can’t be bothered to reply to you. We are very disappointed after looking forward to our stay.

Stayed in double room with balcony
Apartments in a good location. 5 min walk to old town/port 10-15 min to beach area.
Upon arrival you need to call the owner to inform of arrival.
The apartments are amongst other residents who also live in the building but the capital apartments are in their own section.
Rooms are spacious comfy and clean. Towels provided for shower and beach.
Apartments are walkable from ferry port.
All round good stay for a couple of nights in split.

Perfect girlie pad for quiet relaxing break
When our transfer didn’t show up at the airport which made us very late to arrive, the owner of the apartments couldn’t have been nicer! He waited for us, called in a favour at a local restaurant for them to stay open for us and gave us a lift because we were tired. Lovely chap, made sure we had everything we needed, and up-graded us to a room with a balcony which was appreciated as it was a bigger room.
Beautifully decorated, comfortable and very clean bedroom and bathroom. Located a short walk outside the old town close enough for easy access to everything but in a quiet residential Street.

great place & location
Ante is a terrific host who was willing to assist us in anyway he could. He was waiting for us outside the apartment and even managed to reserve a parking spot for us outside of a very busy & highly sought parking area. He helped with the luggage & let us know that we could have our room cleaned as often as we wanted & that he was available to answer any of our queries at anytime. He provided us with a list of desirable nearby swimming locations & restaurants. The perfect host. The apartments (we had 3) were very clean & modern with plenty of towels, hairdryer, shampoo & soap. A washing machine was available (would have liked instructions on how to use it as it was a little different to what i was used to), a clothes horse on the balcony-terrific to do that washing before moving on. Iron & ironing board, kitchen utensils, pots & pans not that we did any cooking but was available if we wanted to. A great location as it is only 5 or so min walk from the city centre. Definitely stay there again.
