Perfect location, wonderful service and delightful room

We arrived in Split having enjoyed an amazing sail around the beautiful Dalmatian Islands, checked in with reception the day before our booking at the hotel. They couldn’t have been more helpful and we arranged for their incredibly helpful polite and engaging young man who was on the quayside as we left the boat, he then took our suitcases through a very simple but maze like route through the old town to the hotel. Can’t thank you enough for removing that stressful part of moving from boat to hotel!
The hotel is fabulous with a very high standard of cleanliness and a wonderful breakfast awaits every morning. The location is perfect and whilst it is above two of the best restaurants in the town once the windows and shutters are closed you can’t hear a thing!
This was a wonderful stop for 3 nights in this spectacular town/city of Split, do hope that we can return, thank you so much for making our holiday even more wonderful!

Great hotel!

I loved my stay at this hotel!
I had a little trouble finding it because it is hidden in the narrow streets of Split, not far from Diocletian's Palace, but once I arrived, great welcome, very pretty room with a view of the small square and its restaurants.
Very comfortable bedding.
Good water pressure for the shower.
I loved the exposed stone wall. It adds a lot of character!
Very good breakfast prepared on the spot and to order for the eggs.
Fresh products. Very good bread and cheeses.
I highly recommend this hotel for its very central location and the great service (I appreciated having a clean beach towel every day )
Go for it! You will not be disappointed!

We had a wonderful stay at Hotel Murum. The location inside the walls of Diocletian’s Palace is truly special, and our spacious room beautifully blended original historic features with modern amenities, creating a unique and comfortable experience. The staff was warm, welcoming, and always happy to offer helpful recommendations on what to see and do around Split, which made exploring the city so easy. Breakfast was a standard selection, but everything was fresh, well prepared, and exactly what we needed to start each day. We would happily stay here again and highly recommend Hotel Murum to anyone looking for a memorable stay in the heart of Split.

Very nice small hotel with wonderful staff. We only stayed two nights but were very well taken care of! Really can recommend!

This is a beautiful small hotel in the heart of the old town in Split. The rooms are spacious, cool, and freakily quiet (we heard a storm but we didn’t hear ANY parties or revelry despite the World Cup matches).
The staff are extremely friendly, kind and helpful and made us feel at home, welcome, and at ease to ask questions or for advice.
Important advice: Ask someone to collect you from wherever you’re being dropped off - do NOT try to find this hotel by yourself with your bags. We were met off the ferry and were SO thankful for the escort to the hotel. Split is wonderful and staying here makes it even better.
