Good experience

Hospitality and helpfulness are both very important here, as is often the case in the south. Prices have of course gone up a little since the introduction of the euro, but it really isn't expensive - well, we were there in high season, so no complaints. The accommodation was very clean and comfortable for me and my grandpa. He had his own room with a bathroom and I did too. There is also a beach there, which is rocky but always has clean water and is maybe 15 meters away. There is also a beach bar and you pass a restaurant with really good food!

near beach

we decide to reserve this apartment ; close to the beach ; location is 10 min. to old city of Dubrovnik ; the place is very clean ; room was a bit small ; bathroom is too small ; mr boris & his wife are kind & helpful ; the dauther very agresive !! the beach is 25 meters only ; I don't know yet why the too high degree of this place !!
it's ok ; not cheap ;

Lovely place

Lovely rooms/apartments near Dubrovnik. Boris is such a great host! The beach is right around the corner, the garden is filled with fruit trees such as grapes, oranges and kiwis.
The room was clean and the air conditioning was the best thing on a hot day. We had a room, not an apartment, but there was still a kitchen we could use downstairs with a fridge to store our breakfast stuff and drinks.
Boris and his wife were so thoughtful and lovely hosts. On the first morning Boris wanted to took us to the market near by the place, and insisted to go with his car and not our rental. Boris speaks German and Italian but English not so much. His daughter visits daily, and she speaks English as well.
Bonus points for the cutest cat and tiny tortoise family who lived in the garden.
There was parking included in the price, be aware that the roads are super tight and filled with other parked cars. Getting in and out from our spot was a bit difficult, but according to über drivers, that is the case everywhere in Croatia.
Still absolutely 5/5 and definitely recommending Boris apartments to everyone

Fantastic friendly welcome

We stayed here for a week at the start of June. We were met by Natasha, who is Boris' daughter. The accommodation is clean and functional. We were offered transport by the family to the supermarket and to Dubrovnik if required. Lovely (stony) beach literally on the doorstep with 2 decent and well priced bar/restaurants also. A car is really required as it is quite remote, even if it is on the main bus route. To get to the Old Town in Dubrovnik by bus cost almost €45 return for 4 adult and 1 child fare...saucy enough if you were doing it for a week ! Fantastic base, super friendly and accommodating hosts, and not priced out of it by any means. If I were to holiday here again I would definitely be staying with Boris and his wonderful family

Fantastic and friendly

Stayed here for two weeks in August, can't fault it one bit. Despite staying with family members who have been here many times, the family still treated us as if they had never met us before, they literally couldn't do enough for us. Very friendly family run apartments, beautifully located, clean and fit for purpose. Literally round the corner from two fantastic restaurants and stikovica beach. Brilliant two weeks :).
