Lovely place to stay

Sakura's mum, the owner of the guesthouse, is a truly lovely lady! She is very knowledgable about Bishkek, is vey helpful, friendly, is always available, speaks at least English, Russian, Kyrgyzian, and Japanese fluently, and runs an honest, respectable guesthouse. All theprivate and dorm rooms are clean and presentable, showers are fantastic, everything is tidy, and there is a lovely outdoor area/garden for relaxing in, which is rare for a central city location!
During the summer months, the number of guests can be quite high, so it can be quite noisy in the evenings, but that's normal for any more backpacker guesthouse in any country!
For me, it was the nicest affordable place to stay in Bishkek, and with my work there, I have visited many!
Would highly reccomend :)

An island of peace in a huge noisy city

On the bikepacking trip we were mostly concerned about our bikes' safty. We were received by the lovely hostess, who speaks multipal languages. We were allowed to keep our bikes in the garden under the roof, what made us very happy. Sakura guest house was clean and tidy. It has an equipped kitchen where you can cook, eat and store food and beautiful garden with two large roofed garden tables. It was awesome to wake up in the morning and have a cup of coffee in the garden. The location is superb! A walking distance to the main avenues and best sites. But despite the closeness to the busy streets staying there felt safe, cosy and peaceful.

Good resting place for flexible travelers

For 8$ you get a good bed, a nice terrace outside, a small kitchen, a pool-ish contraption, clean toilets and warm showers. The hostel management is not very talkative but you can get travel advice if you ask directly. Some of the dorms don't have curtains, I slept in the one-floor side building which is quiet and cool.

Unknowledgeable staff but good facilities

Was not impressed when staff suggested asking other travellers when simple travel advice was requested. The (female) owner was more helpful but not friendly. Nevertheless the facilities were good and clean, including a small kitchen and outdoor seating area. The dorm room only had 6 beds and there were lockers under the bed. The city centre is also within walking distance.

Just perfect

Very very very clean. The owner is a Japanese lady and she keeps the entire place in a perfect condition.
There is a highly secured entrance door and a personal locker under each bed which makes things safe. It is very peaceful and quiet place for a very good price!
I highly recommend this place although the only annoying thing is the angry dog and he barks sometimes in the middle of the night but I guess they keep him there for more security.
The location of this hostel is at the centre and vlose to everything and all the main bus stops.
