Great hotel in Curaçao. Location, structure, and team!
We stayed at Villa Amalie for 5 days. I totally recommend this hotel. It is very well located, and the room we stayed in was excellent.
I also congratulate the entire hotel team, with special mention to Roger, who explains everything to us at all times and helps with everything possible.

RUDE owner - Hotel in DANGEROUS neighborhood - owner takes SEXIST photos
Be sure to read other reviews, a lot of people have been treated rudely here. Paul takes pictures of you through his camera system, too. He had pictures on his phone of me in my sports bra that he didn't want to delete. Eventually, the police made him do this.
We stayed 3 nights at this hotel. The 4th night we were asked to find another hotel. This has happened to several guests! If you make a comment, Paul will go crazy and unceremoniously throw you out on the street and this for a trifle.
Unaware of any harm we went to breakfast. This hotel serves breakfast between 8am and 9am. We arrived at 9.03am and requested breakfast from the staff. They told me their boss wouldn't let them give me this anymore. Because we found this really very customer-unfriendly, we asked if we could speak to their boss. Instead of understanding, he became rude and rude, found it outrageous that we had asked for this and, moreover, we had left the gates open at his other abandoned construction site when we parked our car there. And because we had broken his rules, we had to leave the hotel after 3 nights. At first we thought this was a joke. We asked to be able to talk to him about whether to obtain some more sandwiches and he started talking about the gates of the parking lot. If we don't leave his hotel right away, he called the police. We went to our room, not understanding what had happened to us when the police knocked. Also they found it particularly strange, said they were going to talk to him to let us sleep our last night but also to them he said that this did not tolerate.
Once we were outside, he started filming us and taking pictures when we were at the police station. When the police asked us to insist that he remove it, we saw that he had a lot of pictures of me in my sports bra!!! The owner is out of his mind. In the end, we're very happy to be out of here.
However, we would like to warn everyone that this man is a narcissist and films his guests with his camera which he also has pictures taken of! The police said we could press charges.
Moreover, the hotel is located in a bad neighborhood. I was in Curacao at the beginning of the week because we are working with the university. They said that this is one of the worst neighborhoods of Curacao. At night you can't walk around safely alone. It's a neighborhood with many rotten, abandoned homes with vagrants and drunk, drugged people.

Good stay
Well located hotel! 5m walk from the center! Offers free parking nearby! Room though small and comfortable! Rooms are cleaned on alternating days. They offer towels for beach and coffee and capuccino and water 24h. The only negative point is the breakfast. Every day the same thing (mould bread, cheese, ham, butter, a fruit, an egg, and orange juice). The schedule is bad. Week starts at 8am and weekends at 9am!!!!! One day I asked to exchange the boiled egg that came for a fried egg, they refused. Lamentável!

Cozy! - Excellent cost / benefit
It is a very well-kept season home converted into a hotel, great service, cosy room and very comfortable bed. I emphasize the way ROGER welcomed us since the arrival, making an invitation to leave us at ease, with tips of places, and beaches. Including borrowed us with cooler to use during our stay and made available their WhatsApp to call at any time.
The Manha' coffee is simple, with eggs and fruits and juice, without much variety and quality.
If you like walking, you can walk to the center, or to Nieuwestraat, a street full of bars and restaurants, well busy at night.
Details, in the vicinity there are some consulates, I found very safe and quiet, no noise at night.
I recommend.
Tip: When booking, choose the rooms "suite" as some have private bathroom, but with access from the hallway.

Lovey stay we were there a week the host is very nice very friendly helpful the place is very clean it’s a good way to relax after weeks of adventure ! Restaurants are close and wel the island is beautiful full and this hotel compliments the beauty
