Hotel is conveniently located close to the harbor where many tours disembark, but still close enough to town to be easily walkable. The beach behind the property is gorgeous and somewhat secluded. The staff were very helpful and friendly, and were able to accommodate our super early check-in. The room was clean and comfortable, and the bathroom was especially spacious! Water temperature in the shower was nice and warm, but the pressure was a bit low, which can be expected. The balcony with hammock made for a wonderful setting and view each evening. We ate dinner multiple times at the hotel due to convenience, and the food was very good! We had Tapas during Sunset one night, which was a fun experience as well. The breakfast is delicious and filling enough for a day of adventure. Would love to stay here again, highly recommend!

Great stay in Isabela Island

Very pleasant stay, beautiful beach, the stuff had excellent hospitality were very helpful, as I got there they offered an upgrade with no extra charges. Always knew my name and asked about my daily experiences. Breakfast was decent.

Fabulous stay at Casa de Marita

Our group had the most wonderful stay at Casa de Marita. The staff were fabulous - special thanks to Jonathan, Gabriel and the team who went above and beyond to make sure we all had a great stay - helping us book day tours and made fantastic cocktails.
We loved being able to sit outside right at he table on the sand, and all of the hammocks were divine.
The rooms were beautiful - I was in Lila Oceanfront Suite. Great breakfasts, lunches and dinners. The location near town and close to the pier and snorkelling at Concha la Perla was great.
If you are planning to stay on Isabela do not go past Casa de Marita.

Lovely hotel in great location with excellent staff

Hotel Casa de Marita is a lovely boutique hotel, probably one of the nicest in Puerto Villamil, and the staff were exceptionally helpful. Location is excellent— right on the beach and very close to Concha y Perla Bay. Rooms are a good size with nice balcony, but still somewhat basic. Restaurant is good, and nice to be able to have lunch or snacks/drinks on the deck. Same day laundry was another plus.
