An absolute gem!
If it’s peace and tranquility you are looking for at great, great value, this is the place. Lovely room on the edge of the beech with a very high standard.

Lunch
We had a lunch in the restaurant and enjoyed it. The smashed potates could have bee better. It was made of powder we suspected. 8€ for it was a bit much and it should be made if fresh potatoes to reflect the quolity of the place.

Hedon: A first-class restaurant
This review applies to the Hedon restaurant, which we visited in late November. It was a delightful surprise, with every course absolutely delicious and an excellent choice of wines. I have told all my friends in London about it, and will be back at the earliest opportunity. Many thanks for a memorable evening.

Mkni spa holiday
Let us make it clear at once: if you are looking for a versatile and nice pool area, this is not the place! Three small pools (one of which is only part of the Silent Spa) that have seen their best days (but are just about to undergo renovation) are not much to boast about.A couple of saunas are included in the regular spa, nothing extra there either. At Silent Spa there are a few more saunas, but according to us extremely questioned if it is worth the extra money. The spa area feels somewhat impersonal compared to other places- missing eg less secluded relaxation areas with comfortable chairs / beds. On the other hand, you have to understand that the space limits this old house.
Having said that: everything else was fine! The location by the beach was excellent, the spa treatments we went to were handled professionally, the room and the cleaning good. (I don’t think it pays to expect too much sea views in the summer because of all the trees between the house and the beach.) The service worked perfectly and the food was very good. The morning meal was among the best (if not the most plentiful) we had during our many trips.
So out of season it was very calm and quiet, probably more active other seasons.

We were very pleased with our stay. Everything was clean and comfortable. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The hotel exceeded our expectations. We really enjoyed our stay here.

Access to the restaurant and spa treatment is by advance reservation only. You can use the special requests box when booking, or contact the property directly with the contact details provided in your confirmation. All rooms with sea views are on the beach promenade side, and the sea can be seen from the balcony, however during the summer period, rooms with direct sea views are subject to availability, as trees might hinder the direct view. Please see the pictures under room types for reference. When booking more than 5 rooms, different policies and additional supplements may apply. The property's parking is only for the use of guests staying at the property. Parking spaces must be reserved in advance and paid for at the front desk. Parking is available for EUR 20 per night from June 1 to August 31, and EUR 10 per night from September 1 to May 31.
