Nice visit with lovely and good staff

Lovely Lodge with Friendly Staff! Nice experience eating at the campfire with all their own table definitely recommended! Only our internet did not work and it was a bit of searching because you have to go through the nature reserve because the Lodge is at the top of the mountain and the collars start a bit later.

Beautiful location

Absolutely gorgeous. We arrived after several days of rain, and had quite a bit of difficulty getting up the hill. We did see a newborn blue wildebeest on the way up, though. The setting is idyllic. It definitely takes you back to a different time and place. The food and staff were amazing. Don't bet on great internet service, though. Then again, who needs internet when you are there. It was stunning.

Lovely location

Fantastic location at the top of hill surrounded by a game reserve. We had Granny's Cottage which was 200m down the hill - lovely location - huge "cottage"!! Comfortable with lots of space.
Dinner around the fire was nice - fairly standard fare but decent quality. Was interesting to see the Bushbaby up close! Breakfast was lovely on the terrace overlooking the valley. Great for bird watching!

Top location

We stayed with our family in Down Gran's cottage, but had our meals at the main lodge. Both the cottage and the lodge were vey stylish and offered the most beautiful views on the wild park. Staff was extremely friendly and helpful. The atmosphere was very relaxing.

Almost like going back in time

Set in the Mlilwane national park, the lodge is almost colonial, with beautiful gardens and fantastic views. Abundant nature, lots of birdlife and small antelopes.
The style is reminiscent of another age, old fashioned , but stylish. The rooms are smaller than expected, but comfortable. Bit close to each other, as you can here others in their rooms and no a/c and wifi next to useless even in lounge. We had HB option, as rooms not s/c and nearest eating place is at Rest Camp, several km way. Food was good but little choice.
Surprised to find staff spent so much time sitting in lounge watching TV, with shoes scattered around.
Overall lovely location, but we thought a bit pricey for Swaziland.
