Dive/ Snorkel birthday extravaganza!
Fiji was considered a bucket list destination for me (one of the top soft coral reefs in the world- Rainbow Reef). To celebrate my 50th birthday my friends (a group of 8) graciously agreed to help me ring it in, in style! I chose this location based on a friend’s recommendation. We are divers and a few snorklers. This resort exceeded expectations! The staff were top notch, extremely friendly and kind. Service level was amazing, they were always one step ahead in knowing our needs. The resort was clean and safe. The outdoor showers, dive guides, food, drinks, cultural night, beach picnic, jam sessions, staff and friends made this a destination I will be returning to! Bula my new friends!

Paradise Taveuni Resort - Simply the best!
Paradise Taveuni Resort is just that, Paradise. From the time we stepped onto the property until the day we left, our every need was catered to. The food, the drinks, the accommodations , and last, but certainly not least, the diving was an experience I will cherish for a lifetime. If you are looking for an affordable place to relax, catch some rays by the pool, and experience some of the best diving in the world, please put this place on your list. We are already trying to figure out how we can get back.

Amazing overall experience
This stay was Amazing! The resort, staff, service, diving, food was all excellent.
The staff for hospitality, dining, diving, entertainment was top notch. I went with a group of 18 dive buddies, mostly from Maui where I live. I would go back in a heartbeat. Did I mention value?? Holy smokes what a great value overall!

Perfect escape to Paradise...literally!
We had an absolutely incredible time at Paradise Resort on Taveuni, Fiji! The setting was truly idyllic, so peaceful and relaxing. But what stood out most was the staff; they were simply outstanding, easily the best we’ve encountered across all the resorts we’ve visited in Fiji. They went above and beyond, which made our stay even more special. The food was delicious, the accommodation was lovely, and everything was just perfect. We can’t recommend it highly enough. Thank you, Paradise Resort, for a wonderful escape!"

Food is terrible
Firstly, the staff are amazing. Run off their feet, short staffed, working hard. Cannot fault them.
The food ranged from mediocre to inedible. Fruit appeared to be rationed, veggies overcooked. The only fish available was tuna, which was often too dry to eat. Beef like rubber. The only saving grace was the bread. Not once did anyone ask me why there was so much food left on my plate. I came home very run down from my time in "paradise". We often waited a long time for our food too.
My group was there for 11 days, so for 2 "Fiji nights". On the 2nd Fiji night, some of us wanted to do a night dive. Despite being at an additional cost, we were told that all guests had to be in resort early evening for the Fiji night & therefore we couldn'tdo a night dive. Surely it is our holiday to spend as we wish?
Note on the Oceanview rooms, they only give you a narrow view of the distant ocean, if you stand in one particular spot & use binoculars. Rooms a bit tired. Outdoor showers fabulous.
It was a long way and a lot of money...won't be repeating the experience.

Unfortunately, the food quality, room condition, and our policy regarding the night dive on Fiji Night did not meet your expectations, especially, as you mengtioned, after traveling such a long distance.
I am disappointed that your time here felt less than "Paradise" and we will be reviewing all the points you raised, particularly the issues with the kitchen and guest activity flexibility.
Constructive criticism like yours is vital to us as we work to maintain the quality of our resort operations.
