Great Service and Food. Good Rooms and Location.
--Kind, helpful registration clerk for late-night arrival (Same clerk noticed my dinner situation a few nights later and walked over to restaurant area to "save" me by telling waiter that I had posted an incidentals deposit when my second credit card (Apple-heads up) wouldn't work with card reader. It was so sweet.)
-Note hotel also has a pop-up African crafts shop, which saved me for last-minute souvenirs. I was skeptical at first, but after touring city, I found that the hotel shop compared favorably in merchandise and prices to other shops in Accra.
5 stars for food. Great food, although the à la carte menu is much better than the dinner buffet.
4 stars for room. Had a jr suite, which was lovely. Just remember to vacuum under sofa cushions. Also, banging from the hotel's heavy wooden furniture permeates walls. Couldn't sleep until my neighbors went to bed. I must assume they heard when I closed drawers and closet doors as well.
-They need to replace or deodorize the hallway carpets om the second floor.
4 stars for location. Not much to look at in the block surrounding the hotel, but it is across the bridge from the newish Accra Mall, which has stores containing whatever a U.S. traveler is accustomed to seeing at an outlet mall at home, including attractive groceries and a Levi's store selling premium jeans (leather patch) at prices between U.S. $130-350. Good emergency souvenir shop at mall too: Whitleys.
Hotel is also close to the airport.
I would return.

Excellent Service
A special shout-out to Arrington. He was professional, approachable, and made sure we were well taken care of from start to finish. His excellent customer service really stood out and made the visit even more enjoyable.
I’d definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for a great night out, and I’ll be coming back again!

Fair but noise in some room (Room 4025)
The hotel could do well to have sound proof Windows.
It really gets noise in the morning and evening from the traffic on the highway .
