A Home Far Away From Home!
Vincent and his wife Anna run a beautiful, small hotel close to the Wli Waterfall. This was without a doubt the nicest place my friend and I stayed during our time in Ghana. From the very first moment, it truly felt like home.
Vincent welcomed us not as guests, but as family. We spent many evenings talking, laughing, and sharing stories with him. He is incredibly kind, smart, and warm-hearted. And the food, there is simply no place where we ate better than here. We can honestly say that Anna is the best chef in Ghana. We couldn’t stop eating and ended up having all our meals at the hotel. The menu is extensive and filled with delicious Ghanaian specialties.
Vincent also knew everything about the activities in the area and helped us plan all five of our days. From the hotel, everything was easy to reach, and the view from the road is breathtaking, with beautiful mountains and nature all around.
We played football with the children, danced with Vincent’s kids, and relaxed in the comfortable hammocks, enjoying the peaceful atmosphere. This place is full of warmth, joy, and genuine connection.
I would love to come back here one day.

Friendly owner, solid budget choice.
Having walked across the border from Togo I headed to this property which was a manageable walk from the border.
Room was basic but met my needs. There were some issues with water during my stay but I was provided with buckets of water to wash with. Aircon didn't seem to make much difference, but it was very hot outside.
The guy running the place (not the owner) didn't speak much English. I was surprised by this but we made do. Thought I was done speaking French after Togo.
The food at the restaurant was 'ok'. They want you to order in advance. I came out for breakfast one day to an omelette which was already cold. On another occasion I ordered dinner earlier in the day. I did not specify a time. Later I told the guy he cold start making my food now. He pointed to my food which was already on the table getting cold. So make sure you specify a time. I also ate a meal at the German owned place, which was good.
You have to pay per hour for internet. I already had a Ghana sim so didn't need to do this. I'd recommend you get one yourself.
It's a fairly short walk to the entrance to the waterfalls. One day I just went to the lower falls. The next I did the Ghana loop and visited the upper falls, then the lower again. I'd recommend starting as early as you can manage.

Incredible experience - I wish I could give more than 5 stars
Three of us stayed for 2 nights at the Wli Waterfalls Inn and had a brilliant experience. The rooms had everything we needed at a very reasonable price. The food was lovely and we were made to feel so welcome by all the staff. The setting is incredibly peaceful and ideally located to explore the Wli waterfalls.
The person who made our stay extra special, was Vincent, the owner. He really went above and beyond. Following our stay we were heading for Togo. He found out all of the information we needed and said he’d drive us to the nearest border crossing where we could get a visa. At the border he negotiated with the Ghana and Togo officials and then offered to drive us to our final destination. Without him, we would probably be a lot poorer and have arrived a lot later. Thank you so much Vincent (or Kofi Annan as we now call him!)

Quiet location close to the falls, very good food
Rooms are clean but basic, average for others we had in Ghana. Air con is available in the rooms, cold showers but they can heat you up some hot water if you need.
Wi-Fi available for GHC20/ hour which is very expensive, we didn’t use so don’t know how good the connection is.
The owner is very friendly and helpful, and able to accommodate requests. Their lunch and dinners were very good and the price of drinks were very reasonable. Laundry service was also very efficient and well priced.
Driving around Wli there was a lot of other accommodation so not sure how they are priced/ standard compared to this one but we were happy with it due to the food they served.

A place not to be missed when visiting Ghana.
Comfortable reasonable well-appointed room, Friendly and efficient staff. the bar is well stocked with all the basics and the food is fresh and well served. The proximity to the falls is an advantage.
