The room was nice and clean exept carpets on the floor. The service in the restaurant was really bad. So slow but not interested at all in giving a s¨good service. A pancake for the kids was not possible to get, and no flexibility at all. Only one sachet of nescafe was available per breakfast. when you ordered a thing it took so long to get it, and you had to ask several time to be sure thay have not forgotten your order,

Poor Customer Service

Good afternoon,
I would like to share some feedback regarding our recent visit to the resort as lunch guests.
I previously visited around two years ago with my family from the UK and had a very pleasant experience. Aside from a longer wait for food service, we enjoyed ourselves, which is why I recommended the resort to the rest of my family. As a result, several of us visited recently while gathering in Brenu to celebrate my father’s 80th birthday. We also own a property on the beach and expect to be visiting the area more frequently.
Unfortunately, this visit was disappointing. Our group spent over 1,400 cedis on lunch, yet we were not initially offered access to the pool. After asking several times, we were informed that we would need to pay an additional 150 cedis per person to use it. We were also told that Wi-Fi access was not available to us as it was reserved for hotel guests only.
At the time of our visit, there were only three tables occupied and no guests using the pool or surrounding facilities, which made this particularly surprising and frustrating.
As we plan to return to Brenu regularly, I would appreciate some clarification on your policy for day or lunch guests. Needless to say, we were quite unhappy with this experience, especially given our positive visit in the past.

One of the best places to stay along the West African coast. The service is second to none. The rooms are clean, The food is excellent and most importantly there is a great variety of local Ghanaian cuisine- I strongly recommend the Red/red ( fried plantain and beans). The icing on the cake is the crisp, clean Ocean which is just metres away from your room!

Great Hotel directly at the beach with a great restaurant

The Charlestina Beach Resort in Elmina is a wonderful Place. The staff is really friendly, they try their very best to make your stay a memorable experience. The hotel is directly at the beach (and has a private beach) and a pool. The restaurant is great and offers a variety of food (local and continental) which is always freshly made and made by order. The rooms are great as well, clean and perfect. All the amenities work perfectly which is not a standard in Ghana. We can only recommend to stay in this hotel!
