Second time staying here. Very friendly staff and clean rooms. Convenient location for gigs at either arena or the stadium.
Breakfast is good, though I was disappointed they've removed the waffle maker.

The room was nice, but the breakfast was low standard. Not the hotel of choice if you expect a good breakfast.

Good location for stadium event……but that’s it!

Bad start on this one! We arrived at 1pm which is 2 hours before check in, no bother to us….the rather rude girl at the desk just said “your rooms not ready come back at 3pm” this was no great issue to us….check in is 3pm so it’s fine (no need to be so blunt though). I asked if we could leave our bags and she said yes so we moved to the side to take a couple of bits out and let her continue to serve others. After couple of minutes she had disappeared so I asked the young man if he could store the bags, he asked if our room was not ready? I answered “we have been told it’s not” he took my name and told me it’s ready now no problem, however we have to pay €10 for “early check in”!! I just declined politely as we was nipping to Amsterdam centre anyway so we would have literally just been dropping the bags in the room…the lad was polite and I’m sure just doing his job so I had no issue there at all. On returning at 6pm the same girl was at the desk, I approached and asked for our bags and she seemed fine enough. Upon checking in she charged us an extra €41 for VAT!!! now I paid in full for this booking LAST WEEK I have had no email or contact to say it’s gone up…..taking it from £360 to £400!! Give or take a few pence! I wasn’t happy and I told her I had paid in full to which she told me I had paid last year!! I hadn’t….i paid LAST WEEK. I kept my cool and told her I’m obviously not very happy about that…..I’ve had to pay of course, but her attitude absolutely stunk. She told me she stays in hotels, she knows I’m not happy but I just have to accept it!!! I honestly thought “I’m a customer being spoken to this way but this woman”!! I was honestly taken aback by her! Sadly I have to stay here so I kept my cool, took a breath, got robbed and let it go (I will be questioning booking.com and the management here) but as I don’t want to ruin my stay I’m going to rise above just for now!
The room is really nice from what I’ve seen so far.
So the beds a bit naff in our room it’s a 6/10 for me, rock hard mattress and it creeks really badly!!!!
The area around the hotel and stadium is pretty awful on an evening! If you go left out the hotel you kinda enter Beirut!!! I wouldn’t wanna be out there late at night! We had a group of about 20-30 young lads outside the hotel shouting and screaming till about 2am which wasn’t much fun. Breakfast is pretty average but ok (ish)…..they don’t serve bacon which is a biggy for me but to be fair there’s enough to go at. From a location point of view if you want the stadium (as we do) it’s perfect and it’s right next to the train station (literally walk to it in under a minute). The staff for me have been awful, they are all young people which is fine but there’s no real management there to support them and overall those I’ve encountered have poor attitudes……yes I had a rude lady (in my opinion) but even putting that aside they just don’t seem to care much here.
So we leave tomorrow very early so I’m happy to ask the questions now-
Would I stay here again?- I would if it was just for 1 night and I was using the stadium yes but would I come here for any other reason? Definitely not!!! Massively overpriced, poor attitudes.

June stay

Nice clean hotel. Nice location. Staff nice. Felt breakfast could have been better barely any hot food. No fresh fruit when comparing to other hiltons. Also arriced about 50 mins early advised that our room was ready however they were looking for early book in fee to enter room. Decided to go a walk instead. Felt for the money spent to stay in hotel if the room was ready for us it would have been a nice gesture just to give us access at that point.

Okay hotel, breakfast is terribel no bacon, chicken sausages and powder eggs and cold cuts is the cheapest that excist
